I was just recently diagnosed with autism. The psychiatrist gave me the option of telling the government of my​ country that I'm partially disabled or keeping my normal llfe (as I can be functional when avoiding certain environments). I am about to enter university. ​I wish to be an investigator on philosophy. Although I don't really know what part of philosophy I ​want to be in (science, morals, art, politics, etc).

My question is: how would registering myself impact on my career as philosopher? ​​
