the new urn system is not good for the game
Just making this post to leave my thoughts here, and perhaps gather some perspective from others, I'd love to hear other people's opinions on the matter.
This being said, I think the new urn system is terrible.
It no longer rewards decision making, teamwork, map knowledge and movement mastery, instead it now rewards whichever team has the best teamfight ults (Lash, Dynamo or Kelvin bubble, which for some reason doesn't freeze the delivery the same way it does for rejuv, very dumb).
The original urn enabled split pushing, objective trading, choosing where players needed to be to maximise the distraction aspect of it; now that doesn't matter anymore, the urn's delivery point is far too close to all 3 walkers and base guardians, it's just another boring excuse to force a teamfight.
The delivery point being always the same completely kills any variety. There's a very important objective in mid already, why put another one there when fighting in jungle or on the sidelanes is far more interesting? It draws away from the incredible map design, turning the twisty and turny nature of both sides' jungle into a minor incovenience for people trying to clear camps.
I'm all for new stuff, reworks, experimentation, but this is really not it, at all. Hoping it gets reverted, although I do enjoy the new sound effects and voicelines.
(Also basically nerfing Viscous is insane work, who thought of that??)
