Insurance dropped down by like alot and im kinda scared
im confused i have geico for 3 years when i started i was paying like $154, i canceled my policy due to the rate to getting my car insured would be over 200 dollars for basic liabilty, talked to agent lady about the policy i did in the app and she said that was the best she could do.
i previously paid 119 on my liabilty for an older car thats no longer on my policy and my lowest monthly plan was 109. I recently canceled my policy after getting a better quote from progressive but after speaking to agent they increased my policy from paying 121 a month to 177 after listing the ppl in my home and running my vin number. so i shopped around state farm and allstate all gave me a quote in the 300s and local insurance quoted me around 200 for basic liabilty.
I thought i was cooked, panicked and i called geico back to reinstate my policy, because it was gonna be cancled trrw and i din't want a lapse i recently did a new policy. On the geico website saw lower amount and also wanted to start a fresh quote to make sure everything was accurate. they sent me to sales and they quoted me around 57 bucks a month for liability and sent me a new policy to a new email but im pretty sure i gave him my current policy number, also ive been on non owners for 3 months for 45 bucks so they also saw that on my policy.
I called them again to verify and gave them my old policy number and they sent my id cards with a new policy number to the email i gave when i did a new quote online . Am I good im kinda scared by the dropp rates yea my credit did go up since i been with them but i was like 580 when i started with them im 680 now its not a huge upgrade for such a big drop help.
