Hi, this is my very first time playing Clone Hero. Unfortunately I only have a 6-fret guitar, but I managed to get it working anyway. At first I naively downloaded only 5-fret songs, specifically the entire Guitar Hero Metallica setlist (Neversoft) so now I’m curious about how the “conversion” actually works when you launch a song in 6-fret mode.

Are there any downsides? And is this conversion automatic, or did whoever uploaded the song have to adapt the chart? Thanks in advance for your time!
