Upcoming 4on4 league announced by QW League
The recently started matchmaking service https://www.qwleague.com (open Beta) has announced that they will be running what will likely be the main 4on4 tournament this fall (probably replacing https://www.thebig4.se which ran last season). More info to follow in due time.
QW is currently on summer break
QuakeWorld usually takes a summer break, with lower activity on servers and less tournaments, in order for people to spend time off with family and friends. Things will pick up in August/September again. Enjoy your well deserved time off!

Does your residential complex have a dedicated caretaker/maintenance guy?
I just wanted to ask how maintenance works in general in South Africa, whether they tend to have at least one dedicated caretaker on site or if it's all outsourced on a per-issue basis.
In the complex i'm living in everything is managed by the body corporate/managing agent without any dedicated maintenance guy on site, i.e. everything (except gardening which comes in every week to cut grass and empty bins) turns out to be a contractor call out which is both expensive and inefficient. Even for things like changing a light bulb i'd guess (and it often leads to small things taking long to get addressed or not done at all...).
Do all new complexes work like this?
