Why does this MoBo have 3x full x16 sized PCI-e slots nerfed to 3.0x1, 1!!!! Why would anyone need/want that?
So this is just for my curiosity. What would or could a 3.0x1 PCI-e slot sized for a full x16 card be used for? I'm just so confused. Like a stoned Darwin trying to figure out the Platapus. WHY? Just why? Someone help explain the madness!!

TBF the primary PCI-e is 5.0x16 and I'm just going to use that. But I like to think I might do lossless scaling with a second GPU down the road (0.1% chance). So I check out MoBos with an extra full sized PCI-e slot hoping it's 3.0x16.
