Long story short
My father suddenly passed and I just got hired (may 9th was my first day) and Amazon is giving me the run around about getting time off or just helping me in general and how do get the time away I need without being fired or even taking away my upt time it seems like.
I went in person to pxt/hr and they told me to call the 1888 number than the 1888 number told me to go in person, I go in person and they tell me to call 1888. I also emailed and have 1 or two cases opened about my situation which I expect are not going to favor me.
As mentioned my first day was may9th I also worked may 10th and I missed the 11th-12th because those were the days and he passed this morning may 13th
I’ve also been denied for bereavement, apparently white badge is not eligible
If it matters my schedule is sat-tue 6:30pm- 5:00am
And I’m already -9hr 39min upt and I won’t be able to work until Saturday may 23rd
Please any and all help would be appreciated!!!!
I seriously need this job unplanned deaths are extremely expensive without life insurance!
