2019 WRX issues
I need some help figuring out what's going on with my car, so here's some info.
2019 WRX limited ~130,000 miles
Engine mods: Catless downpipe Cobb intake TGV/EGR deletes DW300c fuel pump Cobb flex kit Proper tune
My current issues are a CEL with random misfire and Cobb code about excessive e85. There is also an intermittent whistling noise coming from the fuel tank area (not a failing pump whine, just short whistle that comes and goes pretty often).
I have replaced the spark plugs, e85 content sensor, cleaned the maf, replaced the fuel pump and sock, used seafoam and replaced the engine air filter. None of these have fixed anything or made any difference. I have also performed a smoke test on the intake and evap, no leaks were found. I checked the purge valve as well and it appears to be functional.
My AP was stolen about a year or so ago, so I cannot check any data and I do not have the funds to fork out almost 800 dollars for a replacement, even used ones are kinda out of the budget at the moment. I'd really just like some insight on getting me on the right path to fix this because I'm stumped. Thanks in advance.
Update: my local tuner needs an AP for data logging, and my tune is locked to a serial number (the stolen AP). Cobb no longer provides any emission modifications (EGR, TGV delete), so in order for data logging, I would need a new AP, and apparently a new tune. Not only can I not pay for all of that, I wouldn't be able to retune it because of the misfires. I would also have to reinstall emission stuff, but I can't pay for a tune anyways. Feel like I'm kind of sol.
