As I’ve said before, Fukuda was probably my favorite character in the manga, so I wanted to give her some love. It was fun to make this oc and set up a little office romance. I’ve never seen an “office lady x delivery man” plot, so I look forward to exploring this😄.

A while ago I read the manga, and my favorite character was Fukuda. There was just something about her that I felt so drawn to, and now I want to do her justice. She’s such a sweetheart.

“After teasing Naoto over the upcoming tests, Nagatoro finds herself caught off guard as he takes it oddly in stride. Even her reactionary prodding backfires, and her crush actually laughs out loud. His smile became a gentle thing, his eyes looking upon her with a warm glimmer, and Nagatoro found her heart beating faster. She’d already imagined what sort of future they might have, but to see such a sweet expression from him was almost more than she could take. Trying her hardest to reel it in, she admits that his sincerity is not so absurd…”

I like the scenes where Naoto goes out of his way to be sincere, and really I think he left the most impact on Nagatoro in those moments. Also you guys know she’s the fakest idgaf-er out there.

“Where ‘Neko-toro’ was borne from the crackling sparks her namesake unleashed upon the artist Naoto, ‘Gold-shi’ arose from the gentle heat that would come to win his heart. Boundless in her energy yet gentle of heart, the warm colors that were soon brought to life insured a joy in all who met her… Once the sewing club was shown this design as well, they sought to outdo their previous work commissioned by Nagatoro in the heat of a moment. With direct supervision from the artist this time, their skills yielded a counterpart that suited Yoshi well. The golden retriever, suitable to a loyal gal…”

The story bit is in line with my fanfiction “Sunflowers and Sheep”, where I plan to use this outfit. I wanted to make a cheerleader outfit specifically for Yoshi while aligning it to the design style of Neko-toro, and maybe I’ll even make outfits for the other gals down the road. Definitely want to color this soon😆!

BOOM! I managed to finish this before the end of pride month! I would like to go back and color this piece in the future, but that will have to wait. Honestly, I’m surprised there isn’t at least a short fanfic or something dedicated to Gamo x Yoshi. But oh well, I’m no stranger to exploring the niches of this fandom, maybe I’ll find something. So uh…I normally draw fanart of the Nagatoro manga for Reddit. But I’ve been getting into tadc and seeing a lot of memes about Jax so I made this😅. I hope at least a few of y’all get a chuckle out of this.

“A formal event is held at the Art college to celebrate the success of their freshmen. With his strengthened resolve, Naoto ask Gamo to join him. He’s left struck by his girlfriend’s beauty, this same woman whose strength and determination has helped him to ignite his soul and shown him love he thought himself unworthy of. He almost forgets to actually ask her for a dance. For her own part, Gamo is endeared by the artist’s gentle resolve. He’s grown so much in the time she’s known him. And she’s come to witness an inner strength that sets her own heart on fire. He’s grown into a gentleman, and it leaves her the more smitten one as their dance slows down. Pressing his luck just enough, Naoto actually gets a tease in just before the moment of truth…”

This was a project a loooong time in the making. I originally only created the piece of Gamo in the dress, but I wanted more. The other parts took longer to make than I intended, but now they’re ready in time to be a “late birthday present” for Gamo 😄. To all the Gamo beleivers, I hope you enjoy!

Based off a meme that was popular for ships a while ago, I thought it suited the humorous nature of the gals’ dynamic. I’ve got a few more ideas in the works, so look out for those. So happy late birthday to Gamo, and happy Pride month to you all.

And so love was further kindled on the Kohli field…” This was one the ones where I tried to experiment with different matoran “builds”. I liked the banter they all had in the movie, and did my best to capture that feeling. I hope you enjoy, and until next time, peace be with you.

Another piece I posted to the TTV forum way back, it was fun to work with the Metru designs while stylizing them ever so slightly. This is the last from my gallery that I can really say is “for pride month” with Vhisola and Nokama. I’m also a sucker for the classic Macku and Hewkii. [Fiery Champion and Striking Artist] the headline reads as cameras flash around them. Naoto smiles with a sense of humble fulfillment as Gamo proudly holds him close. His art is recognized by the public, and he can enjoy this happiness with the woman he loves.

Little does he know, she has more planned for them when they get home…”

I’ve been seeing a lot of art of Yuta and Maki from JJK. And while I haven’t read it, the artwork both fan and official looks so sweet. I was particularly inspired by this one panel of Maki with her arm around Yuta, knew I had to use that pose lol. This comic is set in the same future AU as my “workout” piece. I hope to flesh it out even more soon. Until next time, I hope you enjoy.

A scene from my fanfiction “Sunflowers and Sheep”, chapter 15:

“After being involved in ‘operation: catch the stalker’, Sakura asks the bashful Takao to join her on a walk. They get to know each other better and find themselves in a flower field. Part of the gardening club, Takao is asked to find her something suitable. Upon seeing Sakura, he’s rendered smitten at the sight, and lets out a bit of his heartfelt feelings. And Sakura, used to the shallow attempts of creeps and jocks, finds herself oddly struck by the boy’s plain yet sincere choice of words…”

Sakura is always an interesting character to have for these works, and Takao has been a fun exercise in building out a character with little canon information. I’ve grown fond of these two, and I’d like to do more with them in the future. Inspired by a post from u/ayDRX and by an outfit I recently saw this lady wearing.

It’s definitely a much different vibe from the Gamo I drew way back, Yoshi herself is more on the cutesy side in general. I love associating her with flowers, so the roses felt like a natural touch. Going back with color, I plan to make them yellow. This was a fun piece to make, and I want to draw her in this outfit again soon😄.

“No one had ever seen Orihara snap like that, but then again only Nagatoro could have caused it… It had originally been a rather vulnerable moment, Naoto had gone out of his way to meet her. “Making sure there’s no ill will,” he called it at first, but Orihara soon understood he was just trying to understand her. He admired her determination, related it to his own artwork, and Orihara felt seen for the first time in a long time. Someone was looking at the girl, not just “the champion”. They exchanged some rather heartfelt words… But that tender moment was brazenly interrupted by Nagatoro, who assumed without listening to either of them that Orihara was trying to “steal Naoto from her.” The tanned girl shoved Naoto aside and moved to strike her rival. And that was when Orihara decided that all bets were off. She’d been under immense pressure for so long, there was no more holding back now…”

I’ve been taking an interest in the gals of the later story lately, Orihara and Machida. It feels like there’s so much untapped potential there, as the ultimate “rivals” of the two protagonists. I definitely want to draw more of Orihara in the future😆.

“When she had developed such feelings for Naoto, Machida couldn’t quite say. But once she knew it in her heart, ever the bold if blunt woman, she made her intentions clear. It just so happened that the artist and Nagatoro’s relationship began to break down around the same time, and so Machida made her position clear.”

“And what do you have without me, senpai? Huh?” Nagatoro sneered, only for both to be caught off guard. “He has ME.”

This scenario is based on a comment I saw from a post way back. Machida was part of what I found the most infuriating arc of the whole story, but damn do I find her character interesting. My heart always goes out to the “spurned but redeemed champion” types😅.

That makes 2 INVINCIBLE references, let’s shoot for more lol

I got bored on a plane ride and had this stupid idea lol. I do believe that after a certain point from getting together Gamo would make sure to be affectionate in front of Nagatoro lol. Stay tuned for more invincible?

Here we are, everybody! Chapter 15 of "Sunflowers and Sheep"! After adapting the "Sakura date" chapter, we get some focus on the titular couple of this fanfic, and the beginnings of a side-romance I've been wanting to introduce for a while. Spent way too much of my paycheck on that ship. I don’t regret the purchase, but I need to make sure I get my use out of it. In that spirit, I decided to let all my serpentine take it over. I think Mezmo would get a decent kick out of being a bartender when not announcing. Also made some little buddies for “Skales jr” up in the front.

“After graduation, the Lion and the Sheep only grew in their ability and self-expression. Gamo’s strength and prowess increased, and she brought both victory and renown to her family gym. Meanwhile Naoto’s art grew more diverse, and the young man even went so far as to slowly make a canvas out of his body. The lovers had an influence on each other. Gamo’s brash nature was tempered by Naoto’s patience, and the artist found his inner fire stoked and encouraged by the fiery haired woman. Gamo would join her boyfriend on peaceful walks to inspiring scenery, and Naoto would even dare to join his girlfriend on some of her workouts. If one could describe the couple, they were passionate and supportive.”

This piece was a lot of fun to draw, the pose is from a Deltarune fanart. I had sole friend help me with ideas for their outfits and looks, in particular the idea that Naoto might have wearable sleeves that resemble tattoos. This goes out to the Gamo believers and the muscle lovers, your support makes my day.
