Hey everyone, I am still in complete shock and just had to share this!
After a really rough year health wise and dealing with a lot of exhaustion, grinding my way to the finish line in the Fruit Ninja league, aiming for the top 100 felt like an impossible battle. This was especially true for the first few days when cheaters were rife!
But after reaching the top 100, the goal of top 10 slowly approached, and to my disbelief, I made it into the top 5 overnight whilst sleeping! When I entered 4th, this gave me the encouragement I needed to fight harder toward the dream of top 3 on the penultimate night. I spent the whole night slicing! And I somehow managed to lock down #3 on the leaderboard after the last cheat ban and stay there, finishing with a score of over 4.2 million, which officially pushed me into the Diamond tier I'd been dreaming of! 💎✨
Getting here took sheer stubbornness and a sore aching arm, but I made it!
I also really want to give credit where it's due, it felt like Google did a much better job handling and banning cheaters this time around, which made the leaderboard feel much fairer and rewarding to compete on.
Next stop: Hopefully Diamond Valley in October! Good luck to everyone else still grinding out there! 🚀

In my perks tab, a league for Fruit Ninja has appeared, some time in the last few hours. It says 6 days left, and when I press join, I get redirected back to my main profile page, and northing happens. There is usually a pre-registration period when I've joined previous leagues, like the PUBG one just gone. Can anyone else see this, and how do I actually join, without just being redirected? Has my account done me dirty, by waiting until it's already started before showing it to me?
