Whats The Best Method For Wireless Daulsense Features On PC, Daulsense Y App Or Rapsberry Pi Dongle?

Ive been doing some research on ways to get full haptics wireless on PC. The 2 most promising ones I found is Daulsense Y which looks like a free version of Daulsense X. The Raspberry PI dongle seams like the best and easiest option when set up, but takes some money and time (and looks kinda ugly). Is the Daulsense Y app good for haptics and triggers, does it have any drawbacks like latency or using alot of RAM?

This is repairable?

I was trying to install TMR sticks, but I accidentally pulled the original analog sticks too hard while using a heat gun and scraped some of the traces.

I tried simply ignoring the damage, but after installing the TMR sticks, my controller shows no signs of life and won’t turn on. Could the damaged traces be causing the issue?

customize or buy customized

hi everyone! i apologize if this post has been made before, but i just wanted to ask if it is better to buy a dual sense edge and customize it myself of to get it customized online.

its my boyfriend and I’s anniversary next month and i wanted to get him a dual sense edge controller as he hasn’t upgraded or gotten a new ps5 controller since he got his two years ago. i’ve heard changing the shells is easy but i’m very nervous to do that. that being said, please let me know if it’s possible for a first timer :) or if i do buy it custom— where from? thank you for reading! have a lovely day

NEW TMR stick stuck to the left. Help!

I just installed new TMR sticks into my BDM-030, along with a shell swap & new battery. But now when testing the controller, the left stick is always 100% to the left. When i make a circle with the joystick it does go up and down but will not go right at all. I've taken the shell off and blew it out with canned air but that did not help. I'm pretty sure I did a good job with soldering, nothing was accidentally bridged and all the connections are good. I was careful not to scrape the board and it never got bent, and I cleaned with a little 90% iso and swabs.

I did find out about dualshockcalibration dot org, and I downloaded both Chrome and Edge to try it out but the tool wont work on either of them. I get a message saying "dualshockcalibration.org redirected you too many times."

I'm at a loss! Don't know what I should try next.

UPDATE: fixed it with more canned air and pressing in on the horizontal sensor of the stick. There must have been something inside making the magnet and sensor be too far apart or they just needed to be squeezed closer together slightly.

Dualsense Edge controller flashing white then orange 3 times

Ive taken it apart so many times to making sure the ribbon cables are plugged in well. When I unplug the battery and plug it back, it flashes white constantly and it connects to my laptop just fine, but once i click the home button it goes back flashing white once and then blinks orange 3 times
This was happening before I began working on the controller but didnt think much of it but now I cant seem to find a solution. I did install Gulikit TMR but calibration seems good so I doubt that’s what causing the issue

Best dualsense TMR for fps games?

Ksilver JS13 pro VS GuliKit. I’m looking at upgrading my first dualsense, so to anyone that has tried both I have a few questions.
-Which sticks have a lighter L3 and R3 click ?
-Which sticks have a lighter tension?

I’m guessing I cooked this board?

Controller barely turns on, it will sometimes and just flashes blue for like 10 seconds and then turns off. Used a $20 soldering iron to attempted this so I’m assuming I put too much heat to it and it’s garbage now? Was also my first time soldering so there’s that lol.

My first customized dualsense

- gulikit tmr sticks
- extremerate full matte black shell
- clicky face buttons and kit.
- removed rumble motors to reduce weight.

Turned out pretty good i think. Been using this more than my dualsense edge.

Let me know what you guys think.

PC not detecting PS5 Controller connected via USB-C

I feel like I’ve tried everything to get my ps5 controller to work on pc. The controller won’t even light up or charge

For context, the controller did work for a while with a wired connection but I used a USB-C to USB-C cable with a USB-A to USB-C adapter. Eventually, it started to connect and disconnect consistently using that method and eventually, stopped working.

The controller does connect via Bluetooth to my PC and connects to my MacBook via wired connection with USB-C to USB-C and connects with Bluetooth.

The cable I’ve used but hasn’t work is the cable that came with my duelsense edge. A Amazon basic USB-A to USB-C 3.1 5Gbps high speed. And a Hori USB Charging Play cable. These same cables work on my ps5 to charge and reconnect the controller to the ps5

I’ve tried multiple ps5 controllers and non connected with wired connection to my pc.

Here's what I've tried so far:

  1. Used different USB-A to USB-C cables.
  2. Tried different USB ports on the PC.
  3. Used DS4Windows (including enabling DualSense there).
  4. Updated drivers.
  5. Connected the USB to the controller while it was blinking.
  6. Connected the USB to the controller after it finished blinking.
  7. Performed a hard reset on the controller.
  8. Restarted the PC multiple times.
    9.Downloaded the PlayStation accessories app
    10.Used the ports directly connect to the motherboard.

Bluetooth is off when I try to connect my ps5 controller via wired connection.

I don’t think the ports are the problem because I’ve connect my mouse and keyboard to the same port I used the adapter and cable in and it works.

Any help is greatly appreciated

PS5 controller won’t connects and shuts off

So as you can see in the video when I try to turn on the controller it flashes maybe once or twice then switches off. It says charge the controller but it is charged. Im using the original cable, swapped the battery and cleaned the usb port.

The cable works fine with my other controller.

Also when the cables not connected, the controller does nothing. No flashing light. Any suggestions?

Problemas en Dualsense Bdm030 botón options

Hola a todos! Este es mi primer post y tengo una duda que no vi por aca..
Tengo un Dualsense bdm030 el cual no le funciona el botón options. Al abrir el mismo y dejar la placa desnuda, pulsando el “botón” de options me lee el input pero al ensamblarlo no me lo lee. Inspeccionando más aún veo que el problema está en el “percutor” del mismo pulsador. No encontré más info que el problema es ese plástico.
A alguno le pasó? Probé acomodar con algo de palanca esta pieza pero sigo con el mismo problema.

My first controller finally stick drifts. After 4 years. Debating on getting dual sense edge if its worth it? Or just get a regular one for cheaper. It lasted me 4 yes anyway.

Are the TMR stick replacements for Edge from Battle Beaver worth it?

At ~65 a pop (130 total) that is quite the chunk of change, nearly double a normal Dualsense and 2/3 the price of the Edge itself. I'm a new Edge owner, and don't mind spending the money if it is going to be a significant improvement, but the price is making my eyes water a bit.

I just got these Ginfull RS13 joysticks in the mail to test out. I haven’t tried their DS13 Max model or anything before so this will be my first time with Ginfull. What are your thoughts on these?
