I built a free Windows app to fine-tune PS5 controller input — looking for feedback
Hey everyone!
I’m a software developer and gamer, and I’ve been working on a personal project called AxisNex.
It started because I wanted more control over how my DualSense responds in Rocket League, especially when dealing with deadzones, stick drift and inconsistent input.
Instead of constantly guessing which settings work best, I decided to build my own tool.
What AxisNex currently offers:
Guided stick and trigger calibration
Deadzone and response curve customization
Four controller profiles
Optional 1000 Hz USB polling
Live controller input visualization
Support for USB and Bluetooth
11 languages
It’s completely free, with no ads, accounts or telemetry.
I’ve been using it myself, but I’d really appreciate feedback from other players and developers.
It’s currently available for Windows 10/11 and supports the standard PS5 DualSense controller.

Important: Windows needs to be restarted after the first installation for the controller drivers to work.
The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows may display an unknown publisher warning. The repository includes installation, security and verification information.
It’s free proprietary software, not open-source.
Would love to hear what you think, what could be improved, or which features you’d like to see next!
