So they're Nerfing killer perks again. Really? lol.
So call of brines duration is now 90 seconds, Nurse's calling is now showing downed survivor heals, and STBFL they were too afraid to say what the numbers were. Meanwhile, they will do the OPPOSITE of DIMINISHING RETURNS promise and nerf Coulrophobia to 30% for anti heal builds, nowhere to hide aura read is now 18m, and Thrill is back down to 10%. SB lasts 2 seconds now, Vigil is 40% from 66%, and Deli is 120 seconds of broken. The rest was whatever.
Apparently this is not close to a Diminishing Return's update as they said, and you will have to wait 6 months for more perk changes. I'm just baffled they are nerfing Coulrophobia when healing is instant with broken surgicul suture and gauze or gel dressing which provide 2 self heals still in 16 seconds or less.
You're still going to suffer playing killer regardless of SB, DELI ,VIG, this will change 2/10 of your matches while killer perk variety is dying even harder. Its extremely hard to see any balance changes being done as positives when their own vision of things like Diminishing Returns is still nothing as advertised. Why not make Nurse's Calling and Call of Brine actually stronger? What are they afraid of. There seems to be 0 issue hurting killer perk variety every update and its hard to retain any positivity when every update reinforces the 4 gen regression meta that is also being stagnant and boring. We should be seeing unused perks on killers get real buffs, not decent perks get slashed to do the same old perk loadout again and again. If thrill is a problem because of Jason, why not Nerf his ability to see totems instead of nerf totem builds which is almost entirely useless without thrill as the backbone.
I don't intend this to be a salt post, it's just numbing to see the opposite changes happen in real time and just makes me think how typical this behavior has become. I don't believe nerfing 2 survivor perks and hurting the backbone of a hex playstyle and going back on their diminishing returns logic with coulrophobia is worth it.
