Am5 vs am4 when building a pc.
Hi so I’m building a pc via used parts with facebook marketplace and have 2 pathways. I can either build a ryzen 5800x with 32gb ram and a 9070xt for £800 or alternatively i can build a pc with a ryzen 7500f and 32gb of ram with a 9070xt for £1100. I was wondering whether the £300 extra is worth it just to be on am5 or can i just tank it and stay on am4 then possibly upgrade a few years later when am6 comes out. I can pay the extra £300 if its truly worth it to be on am5 but would rather save if its not necessary.
I want to play mainly single player games at 1440p.
Any recommendations/ advice is appreciated
