NY job offer pulled after THC test
I had a job offer in NY for a residential sales role. After the pre-employment drug test, they rescinded it.
In a recorded call, they directly said it was because of marijuana/THC.
My understanding is NY law (§201-D) protects lawful off-duty cannabis use.
Can an employer still legally deny a non-safety, non-DOT job for THC in NY, or is that a violation of §201-D?
