It was cute, fun, and easy.

I’ve finally completed this set. I do one puzzle whenever I don’t have time to puzzle or it’s too late in the evening to start a new one.

I like the set a lot. Each puzzle is fun, quick and easy.The pieces are sturdy and colors are vivid. It has nice packaging, but no the pieces are not of Ravensburger quality. I was not expecting that since I paid $20 for the set. Definitely got my money’s worth.

This was easy and fun to put together. The quality is different from the other Galison I’ve completed. This seems to have almost soft touch matte finish and the fit is not too tight.

Just completed the most challenging puzzle I’ve ever done yet. Since I started doing puzzles in February, I’ve been sticking to easy puzzles. I decided to complete this one so I can bring it to a puzzle swap but I think I’m going to keep and glue it.

Some bought full price, most thrifted. And I’m going to a puzzle swap the end of this month. Wish me luck!

In my experience, Puzzlebug images always deliver👌

My first Elena Essex and I have mixed feelings. On
one hand, I love the image, vibrant colors and matte finish. The pieces are sturdy, though not as thick as Ravensburger or Eurographics. On the other hand, oh my goodness the false fits! There were tons and it was so frustrating! My box came also has few damaged/bent pieces. If a puzzle costs more than a Ravensburger, I expect at least the same quality.

I have so many Elena Essex puzzles in my wishlist but the false fits on this kinda turned me off from buying more from this brand.

ETA: Based on the comments, the false fits may be a me issue or the image itself. I’m going to give Elena Essex another try if I see it on sale.

I forgot to add this to my completed puzzles in April post. This is so much it deserves a post on its own anyway. First time building a Eurographics puzzle and I’m a fan. Love the sturdy piece quality.
