Traditional Spanish Children’s Songs for primary school

Traditional Spanish Children’s Songs for primary school

I’m an elementary teacher in United States, Spanish is taught to my students (7-10 years old).

I want to passively expose them to Spanish language music while they are working by themselves in class, and I’m looking for traditional Spanish kids songs that are repetitive, fun to sing, and easy enough to learn. Hopefully the song is accompanied by guitar! And the songs cannot be about God or involve religion.

The only Spanish song that I have got is Cumpleaños Feliz by Los Parchis… and that’s not a song for every day.

In the US, we have lots of traditional, silly folk songs that kids have sung for generations. Often, a kid learns them at summer camp or on the playground, even from a grandparent who learned the songs when they were a child.

Here are a few examples to give you more of a sense:

Rear view mirror came off?

There’s an oval piece of glass from the windshield that came off with it… is that normal for a piece of glass to be stuck to the mirror? The piece of glass is somewhat chipped around the edge too

Principal doesn't acknowledge teachers

Principal at elementary school does not reply to greetings from teachers. Personally, that's kind of a slap in the face, and it comes off rather unprofessional.

What's the best way to address this kind of slight?

Purposely not greeting the principal seems petty and equally unprofessional of the teacher, however, when the lack of response comes from the principal it actually takes a toll on staff morale.
