**📋 Quick Survey – Help Us Finish Our Hockey Gear Innovation Project! (Base Layers / Gitch)**

First off, a huge thank you to everyone who filled out our previous survey about your current hockey base layer (gitch) usage. The responses were incredibly helpful and made a real difference in our presentation and creation of our prototype.

We're MBA students working on an Innovation class project focused on designing better hockey base layers, and we're in the home stretch! We're putting the finishing touches on our Prototype and Presentation before final submission, and we need just a little more data.

Your opinion MATTERS and is crucial to the success of our project. We cannot create a product if we don't know what Hockey Players actually want or need in a Base layer.

We've put together a short follow-up survey specifically about your base layer (Gitch) buying habits, things like:

🏒 How much you spend on base layers annually

🔄 How often you replace them

🛒 Your general purchasing habits

It's quick, painless, and your input genuinely helps us build a better product concept for hockey players.

Thanks so much — we really appreciate the hockey community's support on this! 🙏

Anyone else obsessed with what goes under the pads? Portland State University students want your hot takes on base layers 🏒

Hey r/hockeyplayers — occasional gear nerd here.

We talk endlessly about sticks, skates, and helmets — but nobody ever talks about the layer that actually touches your skin for the entire game. Your base layer is the first thing on and somehow always the last thing anyone thinks about.

I'm part of a Portland State University research team and we're collecting honest feedback from hockey players (and skaters) about their base layers — fit, feel, moisture management, how it holds up by the third period, all of it.

Takes about 5 minutes. Completely open-ended — we actually want your real opinions, not checkbox fluff.

Would love to hear from beer leaguers, juniors, college players — doesn't matter what level. If you've ever had a thought about your base layer mid-shift, this is your moment.

This is not a promotional post in any way; we are just doing a research study to learn more about base layers specifically for hockey players.
