Outfits from various points over the last few years (AuDHD + chronically ill)
Please excuse the bathroom pics I don't often encounter a full length mirror (except for when I need to piss and / or shit and I clearly love to commemorate my bathroom trips 🥰 /j)
Ever since my autism diagnosis I have been working to understand how much of my outwardly presented self is a learned identity I have created in order to mask, and how much of me is really "me". The conclusion I am arriving at is that the masked self is still me, but that I actually derive more pleasure and meaning in life from being comfortable and meeting my sensory needs than from striving to appear "put together" all of the time. It is exhausting enough just existing, but ADHD brain loves to seek fun and exploration in places my Autistic brain wants there to be predictability and comfort.
You beautiful folks blow my mind with ur copious quantities of swag. Hopefully my heath improves soon so I can find ways of being expressive while also being sensorily comfortable :)
