How do I fix this watch spot?
(19F) I go to a reputable dentistry every six months, and they say they are watching my front teeth. They also say I'm doing a good job cleaning on my own. I brush at least once a day (I'm trying to get better about brushing twice a day consistently) and use a waterpik. I don't drink or smoke.
The whiter spots (I think those are what the dentists are watching) have been like this for a few years now, and I'm not seeing any improvement. I know enamel can be repaired up to a certain point. I'm hoping to avoid cavities. I have a lot of anxiety around my dental health, especially since teeth issues run in my family.
I think the gap in the middle is natural and not due to the decay, but I'm not sure. I can see the outward flare on the bottom even in pre-braces pictures where my front teeth were miles apart. The small thing visible in the bottom of the gap is a permanent retainer.
