I feel like my husband is cheating
Have any of you ever had the feeling more than once your partner is cheating or doing something? You can’t prove it but you just feel it? What does that mean? I’ve always been so intuitive and sometimes just by the tone of his voice or the initial look in his eye I just…feel like something is off. There have been some things I can prove but not enough to know for sure.
When we were together for about a year he confessed to me that he lied about not having any debt and he was 10k in debt. At the time I just moved on because at least he told me, right? Then one time I found a random jewel in the bathroom when I had been gone on a trip and he blew it off and made it seem funny that I would even think of such a thing. Another time when I was on a trip It was a Sunday and I knew he was home. I FaceTimed him and he didn’t get back to me all day which was weird. When I got back I told him I was suspicious and felt off and he laughed it off again saying “you really think I would cheat on you?”. The last instance was when I randomly went on his phone (i know that’s a no no but I just had to look because he always denies) I found a DM of some random chick he knew forever ago commenting on his story saying “hot daddy”. His response? “Ahahaha thank you” 🤨
I confronted him about it and he said he didn’t think it was that big of a deal. But to me that’s weird as fuck. Why would you respond that way and why the fuck wouldn’t you tell me that? Maybe I’m overreacting but I feel weird!!
And lately I just feel so off. I’ll feel like a fool if I bring it up again because part of me thinks he could be and then the other part is like “you’re crazy, he would never.”. He cheated on his girlfriends in high school but does that mean he would now? He is a really good person and is always helping people. He’s said he wouldn’t be able to keep a secret like cheating from me. But he did keep some pretty serious debt a secret. I’m not sure what to do.
And please don’t do the classic Reddit “leave him” shit because it’s not that easy. If you’ve been cheated on please tell me if I’m overthinking or if I’m onto something
