One of the underrated advantages of DTF over direct printing methods is that you can produce transfers ahead of time and store them until you're ready to press, which opens up a lot of operational flexibility for shops managing variable order flow. But improper storage can degrade the adhesive, cause transfers to stick together, or result in poor bonding when you finally go to press them. Getting your storage setup right protects your inventory and your margins.
