I had my bilateral open carpal tunnel surgery on Monday morning, surgeon said everything went well and both nerves were compressed as well as my tendons being stuck together. It’s now five days post op and my median nerve fingers (thumb, index, middle) have all come back nearly perfectly with only little bit of numbness and tingling. The issue I’m now having is that my ring and pinky fingers are pretty much completely numb which by my understanding is the ulnar nerve. Has this happened to anyone else? I’m now worried something has happened during surgery because I never had this issue prior to the surgery.
