Hii brothers and sisters, My name is Joel. I am a young Dominican man from a low income background who has had to struggle to get ahead in life.

Since I was 12, I have lived without my mother. My father murdered her after discovering her infidelity. From that moment on, I had to learn to take care of myself. At 16, I fell into the world of drugs for a while, but thanks to the support of my church, I was able to break free from that dark cycle.

Today, I am a faithful believer. I was working and studying diligently until about eight months ago.

At that time, I was hit by a reckless driver who fled the scene. I suffered a broken leg, a broken rib, and other minor injuries. My health insurance covered most of the initial expenses, but I had to go into debt to cover medications and surgeries.

Currently, for the past two months, I've been in a very difficult situation: I need money for surgery to remove the pins (screws), as well as for the rehabilitation necessary to walk normally again. My insurance no longer covers these expenses, and without this procedure, I won't be able to fully recover.

Despite everything, I haven't lost faith. I have a clear mission in life: to help orphaned children in my country, where aid often focuses primarily on girls. I want to recover so I can work, study, and fulfill the purpose God has placed in my heart.

With great humility, I ask for your help in any way you can:

* Pray for my recovery and for the strength to keep going.

* If anyone has experience and can help me create a GoFundMe campaign (since I have limitations on receiving funds directly from the Dominican Republic), I would be deeply grateful.

* Any small donation can make a big difference. Contact information:

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who takes the time to read this message. May God bless you abundantly and multiply all the good you do. God bless you, brothers and sisters.
