I went in for a pre teeth cleaning and was told I need a bunch of crowns. I got two, then last week, the thirds one is the R31, furthest upper right. While he worked I overheard the dentist telling the hygienist it was cracked, and hard to reach. A couple days later on a Sunday the temp fell off. I still ate dinner, but it started to hurt, more each day. They got me in on Weds and put in the permanent crown. The hygienist said it didn’t need numbing. It was excruciating. The whole right side of my face, jaw and head hurt like I can’t remember, for a couple hours, and this repeats after I eat or drink, brush my teeth, etc. It’s only Thursday. I have been googling about cracked molars and finding all this information. It doesn’t seem right the dentist did not talk to me about it. He also cut my tongue with the drill during the first crown and assured me, “it won’t need stitches”. I’m afraid to go back to him but I know I need some help asap. What am I going to do with this broken rotten crowned rear molar?
