My husband is a truck driver, he’s on the road for about two months and then he’s home for a week. I changed my profile picture about 2 weeks ago to me and my dog, from a photo of our wedding. He didn’t like that, and told me that I was “making moves” so he was “making moves”. He gave me very little communication, wouldn’t really talk to me about his feelings towards it, and pretty much ignored everything I had to say. He‘s on his vacation week now visiting his mother. I’m upset that he chose his mom, but she’s elderly and probably doesn’t have that much time left. So although I’m feeling super lonely, I understand why he went to visit his mother. BUT while visiting her, he went to a place that he knew would hurt me. and he doesn’t care, because I’m “making moves” so he feels he can do whatever he wants.
I‘m pretty torn up over this because we already have distance working a wedge everyday between us, why is he making the situation worse? so am I the a-hole for changing my profile picture?
