[Hiring] Hospital technician, no prior experience needed

Hello,

My department in a major hospital in San Francisco is hiring for technician positions inside cardiovascular operating rooms.

Ideal candidates are graduated from bachelor's degrees students looking for patient care experience. Many of our staff are pre nursing, PA, med and Perfusion individuals.

Training is 3-6 months, full time and so we are looking for a minimum 2 year commitment. Scheduling after training is semi flexible and many of our staff spend that time retaking courses and prepping applications.

Pay starts at low 30s per hour and jumps up heavily after the 1 year evaluation.

Job entails taking on call (50% of base, 1.5x pay if called in) so applicants must live within 30 minutes of the hospital.

No hospital experience required, some biology background preferred.

You will rotate through operating rooms, cath labs and ICUs assisting with devices and doing day to day builds/primes and patient checks. Devices include ecmo, lvads, cell saver, and more.

Postings are currently posted for internals only but we are looking to fill positions ASAP so posting for visibility/prescreening.

Bay area opportunity coming up!

Hi all,

My department has a few spots opening up for perfusion assistants in San Francisco. This is an amazing opportunity for prospective health career students.

We expect at least a 2 year commitment as the on the job training takes 3-6 months. You will be learning heart lung machines, devices such as impellas and LVADs, iabp and more. You will be working a mixture of OR, Cath lab and icu. Its an extremely good resume booster for perfusion school ( our openings are actually for techs who just left for schooling).

The job entails a mixture of in house and on call so living in SF is a must (30 min response time). Semi flexible scheduling once training is complete so excellent for students who need to retake courses.

Feel free to ask questions or DM for more info.
