I’ve been spamming light attacks and discipline moves the entire game with no bone whistle. Just beat Vermillion Feathers Honglan after 50 tries. Then I wanted to google to see how hard people think she is and every single person says go for back stab heavy for stuns.

What the actual hell. Have I been playing on some extreme difficulty this entire time? Can’t believe this shit. I’ve just been going for the circle to go full for the stun like a dumbazz. That seems too easy in comparison. Pissed lol

Ive never played a soulslike before and I’m interested in these 2 because I really like the look of them after looking at a lot of the options.

What would you guys purchase? I should probably play Elden ring since it seems to be the most hyped but Im thinking I start with something that entices me more to try.

Also is it stupid to play a soulslike with a mouse and keyboard or should I use my controller? Or it doesn’t matter?

Really appreciate any help into the start of my soulslike journey!
