Got my 2nd battery, finally!

My wife bought me a Wabash in Oct 2024, and had it delivered to a local bike shop. They got my extra promo battery about a year ago, but there was no end caps. I kept checking with them every few months. I called this month and it was finally ready for pickup, haha. So it took like 20 months, but I did eventually get the free 2nd battery. I think the bike shop had kind of forgotten about us, so it's good that I kept calling.

I picked up some free firewood. Can you guys tell me what kind of wood it is? I'm used to paper Birch and spruce. I think some of this might be birch, but not paper birch which has bark that peels off real thin. Some of this has really thick bark with deep grooves. And some of the wood is this weird, mottled brown/white pattern like a henna tattoo. That stuff is soft and doesn't split very well.
