Quilters of Alaska

My son just visited your beautiful state for work and loved it! Being from Arizona, it was quite a treat!

So, I shared this request with him to see if any of his coworkers knew any quilters, but there were no takers... hopefully, this reaches someone who would be interested in helping out a 92 year old quilter. Thanks!

Car Launch Thoughts

I really enjoyed the car launch. People were kind and the sound of cars smashing was better than any fireworks show.

That said, the dude that runs the event is…something else.

I would not be surprised if the event’s days are numbered. A car caught fire and set others off too. The smoke was horrendous but, fortunately, didn’t flow towards the crowds. Anyway. Thanks to the majority of people that had good energy.

Xtratuf Storage Ideas

I recently moved into a smaller apartment and I’m looking for creative no-drill xtratuf storage ideas for 6 pairs of boots. Right now, they are on the floor of our closet but they take up the entire space!

Would anyone like to share a photo they took of Alaska?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on a piano cover of The Star-Spangled Banner as part of a series featuring the national anthems of the countries participating in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Instead of using stock images, I'd love to make this a community project by featuring photos shared by people who actually live in different parts of the United States.

If you have a photo you took yourself that you feel represents Alaska—whether it's nature, glaciers, the coast, Fairbanks and Anchorage, the mountains, your neighborhood, or anywhere else—I'd be happy to include it in the video.

If you'd like to contribute, please share a photo in the comments or send me a message. Everyone whose photo is used will be fully credited.

Thank you! 🇺🇸
