When I was a kid in the 2010s I used to live in the UAE, and I remember watching an animated sci fi / fantasy film where the characters travel into space in order to repair a star. The most memorable part of the film was that the spaceship they used was shaped like a mosque or orthodox church and was pulled into space on a string like an elevator. The antagonists were religious extremists. At the end they repaired the star but one of the characters left his sandwich inside of the inner workings, causing a hole in space to rip open and the baddies to get pulled in.

I believe the film was in a foreign language, also I would have watched it around 2012. Ive been searching for so long and cant find anything, even my family members dont remember it but I remember so vividly it must be real.

Also, I forgot to say that if I remember correctly the animation style was similar to the movie treasure planet

Hi, I'm moving to Fairbanks in a couple of weeks. I love hiking but since I'm coming from a state without bears and very mild winters I'm wondering what I can do to stay safe especially in the winter.

So, Im a grad student (23 M) studying polar meteorology and lucky me, I get a chance to do research on an Antarctic base! (Concordia) So Im super stoked because this is great for my career and overwintering has always been a dream of mine, and its been going great up until last week. So, if you knoe anything about Antarctica you know that right now we're in the dead of winter which basically means we're stuck here, no planes in or out. Personally, I love the feeling but many people cant handle the isolation. So anyways, there's this russian base not too far away and IG they had a pretty bad health situash, bad enough for one of the scientists (40ish M) to trek across the ice to get our help. He couldn't tell us much because of the language barrier but we tried to help him nonetheless. So anyways, our doctor (53 M) tried to treat this ruskie but can't figure out what the problemo is. So we sent the ruskie back to his base and everything seems fine but the next thing you know Doc's head EXPLODES!!! Im talking gore, guts, the works, then he starts going CRAZY! He tries to jump our geologist (59 F) but then the base commander pulls out a FLAMETHROWER and torches him to death! So that happened! Afterwards everything seemed fine except for everyone being a little on edge, at least until the same thing that happened to the doc, happened to the GEOLOGIST too! They led her outside, and burned her to DEATH! Fortunately we have a biologist (34 M) on site and he thinks that this is the result of some kind of parasite, maybe sent by the russians, and that if we don't do something about it, everyone could die. We currently have no way to tell who's infected, so nobody trusts each other anymore. Needless to say, if this gets out of hand, this could be real bad for my career, so if any of yall think of a way to test who is infected please let me know ASAP!!!
