Mount Stroller White, usually viewed immediately to the left of Mendenhall glacier, this time from the muskegs of Douglas island.

My mom was given this platinum ring a few years ago, and we’ve both always wondered if part of it is missing. It wasn’t new at the time, it’s used/vintage/antique/pre-loved, and something about the slot (for lack of a better word) makes it look like maybe at some point it had another component…? I’m no jewelry expert, just someone who likes antique sparklies, and I’ve never seen a ring with that kind of “slot” before.

We aren’t particularly concerned with replacing any potential missing pieces, it’s a fun ring to wear as-is, mostly we are just curious :)

Most of my island is pretty rustic and I let it go wild, just my dailies and occasional random cleanup, but just a few days ago decided I wanted to try to make flower-specific rainbow plots. It made me realize I have a shortage of some flower colors so now I’ve also got some spots trying to cultivate some colors. I also might have to do a bit of terraforming to make room for some of them.

I was in a hurry taking pictures here because they were closing down and telling us it was time to leave. Makes me sad because if I’d had more time I would have been in a better headspace to get good pictures, but oh well. I always love cathedral photos.
