sister died and i cant bring myself to play

hi,

in april my sister died, playing animal crossing was our favourite thing to do when she was ill, i would run home from school after securing trades all day to give her items she wanted, we were redecorating our houses, she was really proud of her house, and we wanted to finish the critterpedia and build our museum

tbh i never really get hit emotionally by anything because i know she isnt coming back and shes a lot older than me so i wasnt really a part of her working life

but animal crossing is the one space we have always shared and i cant bring myself to play im getting upset even writng this because it feels like theres so much we didnt do

whats an island without her when everything we do is together

animal crossinf was one of my favourite thinfs but i cant play it without her it feels so empty

just a rant

Question about Customized villager homes

I have recently redecorated my final villager home. When I go to visit them and they are cooking, they totally ignore the kitchen I gave them and pull out some other kitchen to cook on. But, whyyyyyy? This isn’t the first time I noticed this, but before I thought maybe because the kitchen didn’t contain a stove that was the issue, but now Murphy pulled out a different kitchen, also without a stove, to cook on!

Why can't I get this rug in my inventory??

I've used this rug numerous times in HHP as well as in villager home re-designs but it will not show up in my inventory. The Nookipedia says if I design a vacation home for Simon it will unlock, but it's been three days since I included this rug in his design and still no rug in my inventory.

I got my first ever tattoo based on Animal Crossing!

Wanted to share my first ever tattoo, done by my friend here in SF! It’s based on the lily of the valley flower as a reference from Animal Crossing: the Jacob’s Ladder you get for perfect town rating! There’s layers of meaning for me and one of them is it’s also my birth month flower (my birthday was yesterday!). I love animal crossing and this community so I thought you’d all appreciate it too!

Time traveling question

I don’t have very much time to play acnh every day, so I have just been time travelling when I do have time to play, I had gotten to around June 3rd and was wondering if whenever i time travel back to today (21 may) will the days from 22 may- June 3rd all still have unbreakable rocks etc? Sorry not too sure how to word this
