TIL: villagers won't notice your wasp sting wounds if you're wearing sunglasses

I know it's stupidly obvious when you put it like that, but this is the first time I've ever put sunglasses on my character, lol. For a moment, I thought my Villagers just stopped caring 😅

I spent 3 weeks trying to get rid of a villager and now I miss him

I complained about this dude every time I opened the game. He would show up at my house when I was trying to do something, wear the ugliest clothes I gave him, and somehow always be standing exactly where I wanted to terraform. I ignored him for weeks waiting for the thought bubble. He finally asked to move and I said yes immediately. Yesterday his house was gone and at first I was happy about it, but after walking past the empty plot a few times the island started feeling weird. Now I actually miss his stupid catchphrase. Spent almost a month trying to evict this guy and apparently one day without him was enough to make me regret it.

Was anyone else jumpscared by Resetti back in the day?

I told myself I'd upload my island when I finished it, but 1000+ hours later & I'm starting to think that it'll never actually feel finished 😅 Hupperdook is the island I've had since I started playing back in 2020 ~ no resets, no theme, just vibes.

Thank you to everyone who uploads their islands here & to Pinterest, it's been a great source of inspiration so I hope that maybe part of my island can inspire someone else! If you do visit, please tell me what you think! I'm curious if other people can tell which parts I think are unfinished or if there's any sections that could use an overhaul.

(the island name, Hupperdook, is a reference to Critical Role c2 if anyone was curious)

Feeling bored of this game :( what should I do?

My island is okay but the ones I see on here are insane. I have no idea how people get them so developed. I’m at the point where I have an upstairs to my home. I just find the game to be all grinding. Same stuff. Just farm, fish, catch bugs and take them to the shop to sell. I find it takes so long to get a good chunk of money and I just wonder if I’m missing something. The museum fossils are 100% completed and most fish/bugs. What should I do?

Stringfish

300 baits. 300. Im not even joking. Countless miles cause I dont have the appropriate setup on my island. im so fed up with it. I dont have any motivation left to gather baits. Its so damn frustrating. I just cant get this stupid fish. Its the last one missing too. I always went to clifftop rivers, set my game to december or february 9pm. No use. Not a single one in sight. I wanna cry. How much baits do I have to farm to get one? one billion?

First time on scorpion island!

I was so excited!!

Thought I'd try and creep them but after the first few gang fights I resorted to the digging method which worked a treat!

Flick bought them for around 450K bells, I'm annoyed I didn't capture the actual amount 😑
