Hello everyone, two weeks ago ig I posted about my avocado growing in water and becoming strange and you suggested me to put in a succulent mix soil. I actually lectured myself more and I tried to do a succulent mix soil with what I have here and I guess there was a good output. I want to do everything DIY when I can I have a lot of plastic bottle so, basing on what I know about avocado roots and how they grow, I tried to do this very long container with plastic bottle filled with soil. What do you think about it, should I change something? Also, during the growth of this tiny avocado I made a mistake with the roots and they grew twisted so I tried with some sticks to make them straight and these sticks are attached to the roots with some string. It is okay to leave the string or should I get rid of them as soon as I change the container next time?

I was walking by the sea and then I saw this dead drone near some ground. It is very small but it still has its wings on. it doesn't look like a camponotus but maybe I am wrong

Hi everyone, last summer I put in water an avocado seed and it started growing into a glass. Recently, almost 2 months ago. I tried to put in soil but this experiment did not went good so I extracted the seed from soil and put it back into its glass of water. The leaves started rotting so I tried to lecture myself online on avocados and, since it the climate was good, I cutted the too part with the leaves and left the body of my small plant. It actually worked, the plant is now good and new branches are growing. Today I was surfing the net and discovered a bunch of things about this plant, like I should put it in the soil asap (even if my avocado seed doesn't like it) or the fact that the roots should be straight (and not twisted like mine, I am currently try to fix their course with sticks 🤞) So I actually need some tips in general and I need to understand why my avocado seed does not like soil extra: I am growing the top part I cutted last month in water in order to propagate my seed and it is still alive and changing, not rotting, and I guess it is preparing to put roots
