Am I the only one who has a strange feeling watching the merged Hajime of DR3?
I don't know, he seems different from the Hajime we followed in SDR2. On the outside, he looks the same and acts similarly, but it seems like something about his personality isn't what it used to be. What I love so much about Hajime in SDR2 is that he's simply just a guy trying to get things done and move forward in a situation like that, and the very fact that he fails and can't do everything perfectly is what makes him interesting. But the Hajime from Hope Arc seems different to me, like he's a different person entirely. His on-screen presence is completely different—he's always in total control, always seems to know exactly what to say. It's hard to explain, but the feeling of watching him is completely different from playing SDR2 with the 'normal' Hajime. It's like the feeling you get with Sonic and Santiago—they look the same, but something just feels off.
