Hi. I wanted to create a a simpler technique this time. To be honest, I didn't add a Reversal and a Hollow Technique because I had no idea what to add that would make actual sense.

The Four Stags of the World Tree

Cursed Technique Basics:

  • NameThe Four Stags of the World Tree
  • Type: Innate
  • Range: Long Range
  • Capabilities: Summoning, Offensive & Support
  • Ability Summary: The wielder of this Cursed Technique can summon and control four unique Shikigami, which take the forms of mythological stags said to live biting the leaves of the world tree.

Description: Originally belonging to an ancient Sorcerer from Scandinavia that fought alongside the Angel during the Heian Era, The Four Stags of the World Tree technique grants its bearer the ability to conjure and control four different Shikigami that take the form of tall stags with branches in the place of their antlers, with each one of them possessing unique abilities but all connected to the winds in some way.

The four Shikigami and their unique abilities are:

  • Dvalinn: Also known as "The Unconscious One", Dvalinn takes the form of a towering, albeit gentle deer-like Shikigami that exhibits sluggish movements and appears sleepy all the time. While being average when it comes to physical attributes, its true power lies in generating and manipulating the air usually into violent air currents or vortexes of rotating winds that can be used to attack opponents. The user has full control over this wind manipulation, so, even if the Shikigami falls asleep (something that happens often), its power will still be useful.
  • Dáinn: Also known as "The Dead One", its appearance is that of rotting carcass, looking more like an undead curse rather than an elegant stag like the other three Shikigami. Like Dvalinn, Dáinn's power is also that of producing wind attacks but its attacks are considerably less destructive. However, Dáinn's winds are special, as they carry a powerful toxin that literally decays organic matter and causes necrosis on living beings if they're exposed too much to it. Furthermore, this Shikigami is the most durable of the four ones due to its physiology, despite being the one with the less physical strength.
  • Duneyrr: Also known as the "Thundering in the Ear", Duneyrr is a towering stag with glowing eyes and antlers. It's the strongest and most destructive of the four stags (and thus the one that consumes the most CE), both in terms of physical attributes and its unique ability. Instead of generating winds, it has the ability to charge its antlers with electrical energy and shoot powerful lightning bolts. This Shikigami also has the ability to absorb electricity (both mundane and that created from Cursed Energy) using its antlers.
  • Durathror: Also known as the "Thriving Slumber", Durathror is the smallest stag of the four with golden antlers, as well as the weakest of them physically, with its size not increasing no matter how much CE is used to conjure it. However, like the Ten Shadows Technique's Round Deer, its true utility isn't combat but healing instead. Like Dáinn, Durathror also produces weak winds, but, instead of toxic winds, its winds are naturally infused with positive energy that heals indiscriminately anyone in contact with them. By breathing these winds, their healing property becomes even more effective, reaching the level of even healing poisons and toxins (including Dáinn's toxin).

Similarly to the Ten Shadows Technique, the four Shikigami are summoned using hand signs and a chant (and dispelled at will), with the air/wind around the user working as the intermediary for the conjuration. On the other hand, the user already starts with full control over the four Shikigami without the need of any taming ritual, and their destruction only puts them on a one-day cooldown before the user can summon them again.

However, this greater starting power and no risk of permanently losing access to the technique has a severe cost, as this greatly limits the technique's versatility and potential compared to the Ten Shadows Technique, as drawing out the power of the Shikigami without conjuring them or fusing multiple Shikigami are feats almost impossible with this CT (with only three Extension Techniques being exceptions to this rule).

Finally, as a general rule, the more Cursed Energy is channeled to summon one of the stags, the larger and more powerful it will be.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Extension Techniques:

Wind Slash: By using the Four Stags of the World Tree' strengthened Lapse while Dvalinn is summoned, the stag is forcibly awakened, causing it to become more active (to the point that the user finally can use it to directly attack others) and enhancing its wind power, but this isn't the true value of this Extension Technique.

By combining this extension with a Binding Vow that restricts Dvalinn's wind manipulation while the Shikigami is awakened, its wind attacks are dramatically enhanced, but, instead of the user having control over their form, they're shaped into surprisingly deadly blades made of air to slice objects and opponents alike. This Extension Technique was an attempt to mimic Sukuna's Shrine, created after the battle of this CT's original user against the Fallen One.

—————

Death Antlers: By activating the Lapse to summon Dáinn without manifesting it in a fully stable form, the user can partially conjure it, manifesting only its antlers instead. The antlers can be summoned from the user's body or any surface they're touching, with them being useful to pierce opponents. The more CE is used to manifest them, the bigger and more numerous the antlers will be (to the point that they eventually begin to look more like a tree than antlers).

Furthermore, the antlers are imbued with the same toxin found in Dáinn's winds, but more concentrated than usual, with being pierced by them having the same effect as inhaling the winds for a few minutes.

Lastly, this extension can be used even if Dáinn is currently on cooldown due to being destroyed.

—————

Thunder Chariot: By using the Four Stags of the World Tree' strengthened Lapse while Duneyrr is summoned, the Shikigami can redirect its antlers' energy to the rest of its body, using its electricity to greatly increase its speed and essentially allowing it to become faster the more electricity it has accumulated. However, while Duneyrr is in this enhanced state, it'll temporarily lose access to its ranged attacks, as all of its electricity will be redirected to enhance its speed.

—————

Healing Slumber: When it comes to automatic defense, the best example of this is Satoru Gojo himself thanks to his Six Eyes, but others reached some degree of automatic defense before him, with this CT's original user being of them through a few Binding Vows.

By limiting the time Durathror can remain invoked to just ten minutes per day and slightly reducing its usual healing capacity, the user will able to automatically draw out its healing power to heal themself anytime they're hurt, even if the stag isn't currently summoned.

However, the catch with this technique is that the user can only use it when they are unconscious and hurt. Fortunately, this extension also causes the user to wake up once they've been fully healed.

—————

Maximum Output: [Grand Tempest]: The Four Stags hold authority over the winds and, together, this authority is dramatically enhanced through this Extension Technique. By channelling the highest possible CE output while all the Four Stags are summoned, the user can create an extremely destructive miniature tornado by combining the four Shikigami's powers (that can reach the level of an actual tornado if the user is a Special Grade Sorcerer). The winds of this tornado lack any special properties, like Duneyrr's electricity, Durathror's healing, or Dáinn's toxin, but the tornado is powerful enough that these special effect aren't missed.

—————

Eikthyrnir (art by NasaychArt)

Maximum Output: [Eikthyrnir]: According to some interpretations of the myth, there was originally only one stag in the top of the world tree which had later been turned into four independent stags. By summoning the Four Stags at the same time while channelling the highest possible CE output, they'll fuse into the fifth Shikigami, Eikthyrnir, which takes the form of a gigantic stag, with at least twice the size of Duneyrr and particularly large horns.

Eikthyrnir is considerably stronger and more durable than Duneyrr and Dáinn respectively, but, instead of controlling winds, this Shikigami has the ability to generate and manipulate massive volumes of water from its horns, in a manner similar to the Ten Shadows Technique's Max Elephant. This water can be shot as a high-pressure torrent, released as a shapeless wave, or shaped into bubbles to imprison opponents for example.

Furthermore, this Shikigami's water also has the special property of counteracting the Cursed Energy of opponents, weakening hostile techniques and causing them to consume more CE than usual. This property is meant to be an altered version of Durathror's healing.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Maximum Technique:

World Tree's Avatar Yggdrasil

World Tree's Avatar Yggdrasil: What is the ultimate expression of this Cursed Technique?

Is it merely the original fifth stag that originated the other four? Is it the four elements/directions that the Four Stags could represent? No, actually, on the myth, the Four Stags can be interpreted as a natural part of the plant they feed on, the world tree itself. This Maximum Technique was thus developed with this interpretation in mind.

By channelling an absurd amount of CE while summoning and fusing all Four Stags at once, as well as sacrificing all of their mobility and autonomy, a sixth Shikigami is summoned, known as the Yggdrasil.

This ultimate Shikigami takes the form of a gigantic tree with nine eyes on its branches, with it being incredibly durable and capable of regenerating itself from almost any damage that doesn't destroy all of its body at once.

Unlike Eikthyrnir that has an unique ability independent from the other Shikigami, Yggdrasil inherits the four unique abilities of the stags, but in an incredibly superior manner.

By controlling Yggdrasil's power, the user of this CT can manipulate the four types of winds that are wielded by the Four Stags (toxic, healing, electrified, or simply destructive) but in a vastly larger range, to the point that the user can even influence and control the weather within a range of approximately two hundred meters. They can create deadly toxic rains, thunderstorms, healing/poisonous mists, destructive cyclones, and other similar phenomena if the user is creative enough.

However, considering that summoning this Shikigami and actively using its power consume an absurd amount of CE, only a Special Grade Sorcerer would be able to properly use it in actual combat.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Domain Expansion:

Complete Domain:

  • Leaves of the Branch of the World Tree: This is a lethal domain with a fully enclosed barrier and an independent space for it, usually taking the form of the interior of a hollow branch of an absolutely gigantic tree, filled with smaller branches and leaves. In addition to all the default properties that are expected of Domain Expansions, this domain is contantly windy, with the user having the ability to cause these strong winds to mimic the unique abilities of one of the currently summoned Shikigami. The omnipresent winds within its effective range can be electrified using Duneyrr's power, can become toxic using Dáinn's power, or even can be strengthened to crush opponents using Dvalinn's power.

Hi. I tried to turn Rex's EVO mutation into a Cursed Technique. I'm not sure if it turned out good, but I wanted to post it anyway.

Cursed Technique Basics:

  • NameMachine Manifestation (Officially named Cursed Tool Manifestation)
  • Type: Innate/Inherited
  • Capabilities: Offensive, Power Up & Supplementary
  • Ability Summary: The wielder of this Cursed Technique is able to create seven main types of mechanical-looking Cursed Tools from their body at will, as well as absorb other Cursed Tools to heal themself or even fuse with a tool to temporarily upgrade them.

Description: Belonging primarily to a single family of Sorcerers, the Cursed Tool Manifestation technique allows its user the ability to create seven special Cursed Tools from their body by literally transforming a specific body part into it, with each one of these tools having different usages and forms.

Originally, these seven Cursed Tools looked more like actual Cursed Tools, but, since the 20th century, they started to look more and more like actual machines rather than traditional tools and weapons as a result of the evolving interpretation of what tools are, with this being the reason why the modern bearers of this CT started to call it Machine Manifestation instead of its official name. The appearance of these machines also seems to be getting more advanced over the generation. For example, the current Sorcerer with this CT has builds with a more mechanical, industrial appearance, while his granddaughter's builds have a more sleek look.

The seven mechanical Cursed Tools (sometimes called "builds") granted by this CT are:

  • Smack Hands: A pair of massive gauntlets that grants incredible physical strength, capable of even matching the likes of Itadori during the Culling Games. The user can also choose to transform one or both of their arms at once.
  • Boogie Pack: A jet pack with a pair of wide turbine wings that manifests from the user's back. It allows the user to fly at high speeds and with high agility. The flight speed of this build varies depending on the user's experience and CE output, with the record speed exceeding 100 miles in just a few minutes. Furthermore, while the builds doesn't usually consume a significant amount of CE to be maintained, flying with this build actually consumes a lot of CE and can quickly exhaust an inexperienced user.
  • Slam Cannon: A large projectile cannon made from one of the user's arms. It works similarly to a rocket launcher, but it doesn't produce its own ammo. Instead, a maw on the back end of the slam cannon can extend into the ground and reload solid material for ammunition. It then proceeds to fire the compressed material at its target with great force. The projectile is also normally reinforced with CE to further enhance its destructive power.
  • Curse Ride: A motorbike formed out of the user's lower legs, capable of driving over almost any terrain and capable of going over 200 mph if the user has an incredibly high CE output. Furthermore, while the current user's Curse Ride has wheels, the future user of this CT will have her version of it as a hover motorbike that floats a few centimeters above the ground.
  • Punk Busters: A pair of massive super boots with retractable spikes on the soles that considerably amplifies the user's kicking power and speed. They allow the user to jump considerably high distances into the air. Similarly to the Smack Hands, the user can choose to transform one or both legs into them.
  • Block Shield: A metallic shield connected to a gauntlet, capable of withstanding an extensive amount of damage, with this one being the only purely defensive build granted by this CT.
  • Execution Sword: A gigantic sword transformed from the user's arm, being the most lethal of all the seven builds. It can be used offensively to easily cleave through objects or even defensively to deflect attacks.

All of the builds follow the same rules. While summoned, all of them are connected to the user's body and are controlled by them as if they were their limbs, because they're literally one of their body part that was transformed into it. While they're durable, they can be still destroyed, but this is relatively painless and usually only a minimal amount of the damage is transferred back to the user.

The user also has control over the attributes (like size, durability, length, flexibility, and strength) will have when creating them. For example, they can create Smack Hands with the size of regular human arms and capable of extending to reach certain distances. Furthermore, the more CE the user channel on a build while creating it, the more powerful it'll be.

The user can also unsummon the builds easily or even reform them a few seconds after they were destroyed. However, if the user's CE output is currently too unstable (usually because of exhaustion), they'll need constant focus to maintain the builds, because the builds will instantly fall apart if they lose concentration for even a few moments.

>!Four centuries ago, the lineage of Sorcerers who wielded this CT was beginning to be treated as a clan composed by a few families, but they had a rivalry with the Zenin clan, especially due to both this CT and the Ten Shadows Technique being extremely versatile techniques. This rivalry culminated in this CT's smaller clan going to war with the larger and more powerful Zenin clan, resulting in only a single family of the clan surviving.!<

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Extension Techniques:

Secondary Mode: This is the next step once the user has gained enough experience and familiarity with their machines. Through the Machine Transformation's strengthened Lapse, the user can activate a secondary function for each one of their builds. Each build has a different function, with the user needing to learn how to use each one of them individually. While the builds doesn't usually consume a significant amount of CE to be maintained, using these secondary functions actively consumes CE so the user needs to use them sparingly.

  • Smack hands: This build's secondary function allows the hands to function as high-powered drills and add additional power behind their strikes, as well as allowing them to drill underground tunnels.
  • Boogie Pack: This build's secondary function grant the user the capacity of shooting two large grappling hooks on the top of both turbines, capable of restraining opponents or latching to a surface.
  • Slam Cannon: This build's secondary function gives the cannon to the ability to fire beams of pure Cursed Energy instead of physical projectiles, with these attacks considerably surpassing the user's regular CE output.
  • Curse Ride: This build's secondary function consists of a retractable battering ram on its front, which can be used like a shield to break through incredibly thick walls.
  • Punk Busters: This build's secondary function activates a set of jet boosters on its heels that further increases the user's kicking force and jumping height.
  • Block Shield: This build's secondary function gives the shield the ability to generate a defensive barrier made of raw CE, usually taking the form of a dome or of a circular shaped energy shield in front of the regular physical shield. As this extension could quickly exhaust the user, a Binding Vow that forces the user to stay immobile while using it can reduce its CE consumption.
  • Execution Sword: Finally, the secondary function of the most lethal build isn't much useful to be honest. When activated, the top half of the sword will split apart and begin to rotate at a high velocity, transforming it into a sort of battle saw. This extension is most useful when the user is restrained and can't properly wield the sword.

—————

Metallic Tumor: By activating the Lapse without manifesting a fully stable form for any build, the user can generate metallic tumorous sacks that are extremely heavy and can be used to crush opponents. Unlike the regular Lapse, these tumors can be separated from the user's body and remain intact for a few minutes before dissolving into dust.

—————

Dual Build: At the start, the wielder of this CT will only be capable of using one machine at once and, as they become more skilled, they'll learn how to quickly shift between builds. Eventually, they'll reach the level to utilize this Extension Technique, which allows them to employ two builds simultaneously at the cost of both of them having only half of their usual efficiency and potency. It's said that a Sorcerer capable of utilizing all of their build's Secondary Modes and the Dual Build technique has mastered the basics of this CT.

—————

Maximum Output: [Metallic Titan]: This extension is pretty simple, consisting simply on channelling the highest possible Cursed Energy output while using the Lapse, transforming the user into a giant bio-mechanical form. In this form, the user becomes incredibly more powerful than before, as well as gaining access to all of their builds at once. However, this Extension Technique has an absurd CE consumption as even a Grade 1 Sorcerer would fully exhaust their CE reserves after staying transformed for a few minutes.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cursed Technique Reversal:

Cursed Tool Devourer: While the Lapse of this CT transforms the user's body into Cursed Tools, the Reserval allows the user to absorb other Cursed Tools into their own body to heal themself. This is done by physically touching a Cursed Tool and channeling RCE into it, as it causes the tool to be transformed into a flesh-like substance that is absorbed by the user.

How powerful this healing is depends on how powerful the absorbed Cursed Tool was. A Grade 4 Cursed Tool is enough to heal a few scratches, while a Special Grade Cursed Tool is enough to completely regenerate an entire limb. This Reversal is usually more energy efficient than the regular healing through RCT at the cost of permanently sacrificing a Cursed Tool, unless the user's CE control is on par with the likes of Sukuna and the Six Eyes users.

Furthermore, Cursed Tools that are part of someone else's CT (like Mahoraga's Sword of Extermination and Higuruma's hammer) or that are bound to a wielder through a Binding Vow can't be targeted by this CTR.

Lastly, while Cursed Objects can be targeted by this Reversal as their nature is similar enough to that of Cursed Tools, the Binding Vow that guarantees their continued existences prevents them from being absorbed by this CT's user, so any attempt to absorb a Cursed Object is simply a waste of energy ... or maybe not?

—————

Cursed Tool Devourer - Communication Link: Technically an Extention Technique of the Cursed Technique Reversal. This technique was discovered accidentally over a century ago, when a naive Sorcerer spent over a minute trying to consume one of Sukuna's fingers and, through the link formed between him and the Cursed Object, he managed to enter in contact with Sukuna's soul fragment inside it. Of course, this communication was far from stable and lasted only a few seconds but it established the basic concepts of this Extension Technique.

By sacrificing the absorption aspect of the Reversal while targetting specifically Cursed Objects and staying over five minutes physically touching it (that causes glowing, red lines of RCE to appear on the object), the user can access the innate domain of the soul contained inside the object, allowing them to communicate the ancient "curse" within it. This communication can last for a few minutes before becoming too unstable and breaking.

Furthermore, a Binding Vow that prevents the user from attacking the soul inside it in any way is also used to protect user from any potential damage on their own soul they might suffer while communicating with the ancient "curse".

After all, the naive Sorcerer that discovered this technique learned the hard way that the soul inside the Cursed Object can attack the user.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hollow Technique:

Cursed Upgrade: The Lapse essentially transforms the user's body parts into Cursed Tools while the Reversal essentially transforms Cursed Tools into a flesh-like substance to heal the user.

By activating both at once, the user absorbs a Cursed Tool they're touching but, instead of consuming it, the tool fuses with the user's body and is used to produce a new build that enhances its power and utility. In terms of appearance, this build will be similar to this CT's seven main builds but its form and function varies depending on which Cursed Tool it's made from.

For example, the Inverted Spear of Heaven could be transformed into a giant lance replacing one of the user's forearms, the Festering Life Sword would become a pair of gauntlets with claws that have the property of infecting opponents with insect eggs, and Yuta's Ring could become the power source for a cannon capable of firing extremely powerful beams of pure CE.

A build created with this Hollow Technique consumes considerably more CE to be maintained than the regular builds, they lack Secondary Modes and they can't be used with the Dual Build technique as they're more complex than the regular builds, but it's undeniable that this technique greatly increases the versatility of a Sorcerer if they have access to a considerable arsenal of Cursed Tools.

Furthermore, if the build is unsummoned or destroyed, the Cursed Tool will be harmlessly separated from the user.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Maximum Technique:

The Omega Core: Finally, the crown jewel of the Machine Manifestation CT and the main reason behind the >!rivalry between this CT's former clan and the Zenin clan.!<

Through a specific hand sign and a chant (and a considerably large CE cost), the user can summon an eighth machine-like Cursed Tool, known as the Omega Core, taking the form of a heart-sized, metallic sphere, with bright blue lines around it, that will be exposed in the middle of the user's chest.

When the Omega Core is summoned, the user's builds will gain the ability to adapt to any and all phenomena in order to acquire new abilities and traits to specifically overcome enemies' defenses and inflict greater damage upon them.

Some example of possible adaptations include, but aren't limited to: the Smack Hands could become able to touch shadows to attack a Ten Shadows' Sorcerer that is hiding on their own shadow; the Slam Cannon's CE beams could be changed to RCE to counter Cursed Spirits; the Curse Ride could gain the ability to charge its strength the greater the distance it travels without stopping (like the Piercing Ox); the Block Shield could gain the ability to store and release electrical energy while fighting Kashimo; and the Execution Sword's blade could eventually become able to cut the "world itself" to bypass Gojo's Infinity.

All the builds granted by the Extension Techniques (like the Metallic Tumors, the Dual Builds, and even the builds granted by the Cursed Upgrade) can gain the adaptations of the Omega Core.

The Omega Core's adaptation works in very similar manner to Mahoraga's adaptation (like requiring a certain amount of time until it adapts against something, with this time being reduced with further exposure and increased when it's trying to adapt to more complex defenses), but the main key different is that Omega Core's adaptations usually only works offensively, while Mahoraga's adaptations can be defensive, offensive or even auxiliary in nature. After all, some people say that "the best defense is a good offense."

However, using this Maximum Technique has a serious risk. If the Omega Core is destroyed, then the very Cursed Technique goes with it, with the user permanently losing access to it (in the same way as the Ten Shadows Technique is lost if Mahoraga perishes). To prevent problems related to the unstable CE output and insane energy inneficiency that could limit its adaptability, the Omega Core, when summoned, must always remain exposed, as a Binding Vow prevents it from working if the user tries to hide it.

Furthermore, when the Omega Core is unsummoned, all the adaptations that it developed will be lost.

>!Four centuries ago, during the war against the Zenin clan, the clan head with this CT managed to adapt and perfectly counter all the nine tamed Shikigami of an elderly Ten Shadows' user, but ended up losing when a rampaging Mahoraga eventually adapted to his very existence and thus none of his offensive adaptations were able to harm it anymore. This battle also proved that, unlike Mahoraga, the Omega Core can't adapt against someone's very existence.!<

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Domain Expansion:

Complete Domain:

  • Machine World's Heart: This is a lethal domain with a fully enclosed barrier and an independent space for it, usually taking the form of a landscape filled with towering structures with blue circuit-like patterns on them. In addition to all the default properties that are expected of Domain Expansions, this domain's sure-hit effect also grants the user a virtually unlimited supply of CE to summon multiple modified replicas of all their seven main builds from the towers and the floor, like summoning several Slam Cannons in the towers to attack opponents or several Smack Hands from the floor to crush them. However, while the domain supplies with the CE to summon the replicas, it doesn't prevent the user from suffering mental strain if they summon and control too many builds at once. Once the domain is deactivated, all the builds that were summoned through the unlimited supply of CE will automatically disappear with it.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Possible Binding Vows:

  • Damage Transfer: The builds created with this CT can be destroyed, but, by default, this is relatively painless and usually only a minimal amount of the damage is transferred back to the user. In exchange of a reduced CE cost to create the builds, this Binding Vow changes this by causing the pain and damaged of the destruction of a build to be transfered almost completely to the user. For example, if a Smack Hand is destroyed, the user's arm will be left severely wounded.
  • Final Defense Mechanism: The Metallic Titan technique is incredibly powerful, but only skilled Sorcerers gifted with incredibly CE reserves can properly use it due to its absurd CE consumption. So the Sorcerers that lack enough CE to use it, this Binding Vow adds a condition to use that Extension Technique. By removing the user's capacity of using the technique at will, it'll activate automatically every time the user is close to death as a sort of defense mechanism, with a reduced CE consumption than usual.
