I dont know how I haven’t seen this before. The first time Alex’s parents ever met Harrison, they broke the news to them that she was pregnant, and of course Alex tried to turn it into content. No wonder they didn’t take the news well.

I feel really bad for the Hodges. They watched their daughter spiral and lose herself due to oversharing on the internet, and now they’re repeating the same thing with their grandchildren. Alex has zero reason to continue ruining her families life by over sharing, she doesn’t need the money.

The way things went down with Alex‘s parents and how she has handled all of it is so strange to me. They (Kim specifically) were in her content nonstop. Then Alex made a grand announcement that there was some estrangement going on and that she wouldn’t be seeing them indefinitely.
Since then shes made zero announcements or insights. Just comments in passing a couple times a year mentioning she saw them recently, but she obviously hides from social media when she’s actually with them (which completely contradicts Alex‘s style of posting everything and anything about her life). She clearly doesn’t want to talk about them at all but knows she occasionally has to work them into conversations in passing if she wants to try and maintain a likable image.
They visit/see Harrison’s parents what seems like at least once a month. It’s obvious they spend a lot more time with them, and they live in another country, not the state over.
I just don’t get how long Alex thinks she’s can keep up this charade. She’s trying to be a mom/family influencer, she can’t just pretend like her side of the family doesn’t exist forever. People have always been making comments and asking questions about this, but I think they’re only going to get louder the longer Alex tries to ignore the issue.
