Another violent unadoptable pibbles looking for a safe place to land!

Not only dog agressive but kills chickens and has to be the only pet, what a trifecta of great traits *eyeroll*

This should be the turning point, even usual suppporters are questioning this dog being rehomed.

This pit was surrendered by owner for being agressive, the reports say this dog was so agressive to staff it had to be quarantined yet they are trying to adopt it out? Even usual supporters are questioning this, there were more comments concerned about how the person who made this ad could justify supporting this pit be adopted.

"Sweet" pitbull that will suddenly lunge at new dogs and try to start fights just needs "confidence building?"

Typical pattern, cannot imagine this dog will be safe around the general public but apparently is ready for a new home! *facepalm*

This pit looks HILARIOUS when he scratches himself. Please overlook the fact hes dog aggressive and cannot be trained. Make sure you adopt him!!!

How the focus and money spent on non-rehomeable pitbulls is meaning other breeds of dogs are overlooked and being euthanised in shelters.

This is long but the tl:dr is the title with images as proof.

Image 1 : This video contained a large snarling pitbull. Despite the blurb trying to soften how dangerous this dog is it was telling how the shelter volunteer in the video kept their distance and head down avoiding eye contact with the dog. Its body language with other dogs (and vice versa) in the yard was concerning too.

Image 2 : A shelter page trying to downplay the seriousness of this dog attacking a toddler and trying to get it adopted out.

Image 3 : Pibbles did more serious damage to a toddler in this case so its time to roll out the dress up photos in hope you overlook this dog wanting to maul your children.

Image 4 : We know the drill here, as we are all familiar with how these shelters try to minimalize dangerous dogs, no one just gives away their dog they've had for years simply because they are having a baby.

Image 5 : Another aggressive dog which is just misunderstood. I found it suspect why this one needs two different fosters in order to save it.

Image 6 : Given the previous examples of pitbulls who are clearly aggressive but shelters and pro pitbull pages are desperately trying to rehome, I doubt the reason this pit was euthanised was because of a "small altercation".

Image 7 : One of several examples I have found of pitbull charities spending a lot of money to fix a pitbull and then ask the general public to cover the cost. This will be important later.

Image 8 : Negligence on behalf of the shelter, this dog is showing serious health concerns (like frothing mouth which reminds me of rabies) but they are trying to still rehome it?

Image 9: an example of a case where another pitbull charity spent money on this dog for it to be put down anyway and are using this story to drum up money from the general public.

The next 4 posts are from someone I found on social media who works in a shelter, in a "no kill" state, where dogs are being put down in big numbers, especially puppies, and are not given the care or attention the previous posts have shown. Very few of these dogs are aggressive, most are being put down for either space or for conditions that would not cost much to medicate, but as no one is interested in these dogs and there are no advocacy organisations for anything other then pitbulls, these dogs are put down.

I have a lot of respect for this person who is posting this to show the reality of over cramped dog shelters. On almost every video they they state the need for both spaying as they get a lot of pregnant dogs in which they, sadly, have to put down. They are anti-backyard breeding, and often get a lot of abuse on their pages which I haven't shown here because its vile. Its gotten to the point where they cannot promote their shelter because of the levels of threats of violence they have received. This person has also gone to lengths to hide their co-workers faces to not also put them in danger.

Unsurprisingly they have gotten abuse from pitnutters, even before the last post I screenshotted. There is a lot of condemnation for what this person does, but they really do have compassion and are trying to stop the level of preventable euthaniasia that needs to be done by showing the reality of the amount of adoptable dogs that are being overlooked in shelters. This is one of the main reasons I feel pitbulls need to stop being bred, on top of them being proved time and time again to be aggressive and frequent health issues due to their breeding, the fact that because of their breeding in most cases they "have to be the only dog in the house. No cats, no children, no other pets etc" means they take up far more resources of better bred friendly breeds which are safter around other dogs, pets, and children. I really wish pitnutters would wake up and see how their propaganda is hurting other breeds of dog, but I have the feeling from what Ive seen, they don't care.
