Minecraft Server Project

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for developers and people interested in Minecraft server development who would like to work with me on a serious, long-term Minecraft server project.

One of my biggest goals is to create a successful Minecraft server that can grow over time and eventually build a real community around it. I don’t want to make a basic server, keep it online for a few weeks, and then abandon it. I want to actually build something with potential, improve it constantly, listen to the community, and see how far we can take it.

I’ve always wanted to create my own Minecraft server, but I never had the programming knowledge or the right people around me to actually make the idea happen. Instead of letting that stop me, I want to find people who have different skills and work together to turn the idea into something real.

I’ll be completely honest: I don’t know Java programming or advanced plugin development. I know a little bit about plugins and Minecraft servers, but I’m not capable of developing complicated systems myself. That’s why I’m looking for people who can help me with the technical side of the project.

What I can contribute is ideas, creativity, planning, management, testing, and the motivation to keep the project moving. I can help with things such as:

Coming up with unique gamemode ideas

Designing ranks and permissions

Thinking of custom features and systems

Planning quests, events, rewards, and progression

Coming up with ways to make the server different from others

Helping with server structure and organization

Testing plugins and features

Finding bugs and reporting issues

Helping balance gameplay

Thinking about player retention and community features

Helping with Discord and community management

Planning updates and future content

Coming up with ideas for cosmetics, stores, rewards, and other systems

Helping with the overall direction of the server

Helping plan the server economy

Thinking about progression systems

Coming up with ideas for seasonal events and updates

Helping create a roadmap for the project

Helping with testing before releases

Giving feedback on features and gameplay

Learning more about development myself and helping wherever I can

I’m mainly looking for developers, but you don’t have to be extremely experienced. I’m open to people who are just starting out and understand some Java, plugin development, Paper/Spigot, server configuration, or general Minecraft development. If you already have a lot of experience, that’s obviously a huge plus as well.

You could be someone who has been developing Minecraft plugins for years, someone who has only recently started learning Java, or someone who knows the basics and wants a real project to gain experience from. I’m willing to talk to everyone as long as you’re genuinely interested and willing to put in effort.

I’d rather work with someone who is motivated, communicates properly, is reliable, and actually wants to build something than someone who has a lot of experience but isn’t interested in the project.

At the beginning, we can discuss the entire concept together, decide what kind of server we want to make, what features we want, what is realistic, and how we want to approach development. I’m also completely open to suggestions from developers. If you have an idea that you think would make the server better, I want you to be able to bring it up and discuss it with me.

I don’t want this to be a project where one person makes all the decisions and everyone else just follows orders. I want it to feel like an actual team where everyone can contribute ideas and have their own input. If someone has experience that I don’t have, I’m going to listen to their advice and take it seriously.

I also understand that building a good server takes time. I’m not expecting someone to create 50 custom plugins in a few days. The idea is to start with a solid foundation and gradually build on it. We can start small, make sure the basics work properly, and then expand the server with more advanced features over time.

Quality is more important to me than rushing. I would rather release something that feels polished and enjoyable than release something unfinished just to have the server online.

Another important thing is that I want the server to have its own identity. There are already thousands of Minecraft servers, so simply copying another server isn’t what I’m interested in. I want to think about what could make our server different, whether that’s unique gameplay mechanics, progression, gamemodes, events, community features, or custom systems.

As the project develops, we can also look into things such as custom plugins, custom GUIs, unique commands, server optimization, anti-cheat, moderation systems, player statistics, leaderboards, economies, quests, achievements, matchmaking, parties, clans, cosmetics, seasonal content, and other systems depending on what type of server we decide to build.

We can also think about the infrastructure side of the server, such as performance, hosting, backups, security, permissions, staff systems, moderation, and making sure the server is capable of handling more players as the community grows.

As for payment, we can discuss that privately once we’ve talked about the project and I know what you’re capable of, how much experience you have, and what kind of work you would be doing. I want the payment and expectations to be discussed clearly beforehand so there are no misunderstandings.

I’m not looking for people to work for free forever. I understand that development takes time and skill, and I’m willing to discuss reasonable payment depending on the work involved. We can figure out the details privately after getting to know each other and discussing what needs to be done.

I’m also interested in building an actual team if everything goes well. If we work well together, I’d like to continue working with the same people in the future instead of constantly looking for new developers.

If the server becomes successful, I would like everyone who helped build it from the beginning to have the opportunity to continue being involved. We could work on bigger updates, new gamemodes, custom plugins, events, improvements, community projects, and potentially even other Minecraft projects together.

I also want this to be an opportunity for people who are learning. If you’re not an expert yet but you want real experience working on a project, I’m completely open to that. You could improve your Java or plugin development skills while working on something that could eventually become a real public server.

There’s no finalized server concept yet because I want to develop the idea with the people who join. I already have ideas, but I don’t want to lock everything down before talking to developers and hearing what they think. I believe having multiple people contribute their knowledge and experience can make the final project much better.

The project can start from the basics and grow naturally. We can discuss the name, branding, gamemode, server style, features, plugins, development plan, economy, ranks, staff structure, Discord, website, community, marketing, and everything else needed to eventually launch the server.

I’m also willing to put time into the project myself. I don’t expect developers to do everything while I sit around doing nothing. Even though I can’t do the programming side, I can help with planning, testing, ideas, management, research, community work, documentation, and anything else I’m capable of doing.

I’m looking for people who actually want to be part of something rather than just taking a quick job and disappearing. Communication is important to me, and I want everyone involved to be able to communicate openly about problems, ideas, deadlines, and improvements.

Minecraft Server Project

Hey everyone! 👋

I’m a guy who is really interested in creating Minecraft servers, especially PvP servers, 1.21+ servers, and honestly any type of Minecraft server project that could turn into something big and enjoyable.

Right now, I’m looking for developers or people interested in Minecraft server development who would be willing to work together and build something from the ground up. You don’t necessarily have to be extremely experienced — even if you’re still learning and have some experience with Minecraft servers, plugins, configurations, or development, I’d still be interested in talking and seeing what we could create together.

I personally don’t have much programming experience, so programming isn’t really my strong point. However, I’m very interested in the project itself, coming up with ideas, discussing features, planning the server, figuring out what plugins/systems we need, and working together to make everything come together.

If we decide to work on my project, we can discuss everything together — the server concept, game modes, features, plugins, hosting, development, costs, plugin prices, and basically anything else needed to get the project running. I’m open to discussing different ideas and figuring out what would be realistic and worth investing in.

At the same time, if you already have your own Minecraft project, I’d also be interested in helping out with other things that don’t involve programming. I can help with ideas, planning, testing, suggestions, community-related things, or whatever else you might need help with. I’m mainly looking for people who are interested in actually building something together rather than just working completely alone.

I’d really like to find some people who are motivated and willing to discuss ideas, plan things properly, and work together long-term. It doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced developer or someone who is still improving — if you’re interested in Minecraft server development and want to work on a project with someone, feel free to reach out.

If any of this sounds interesting to you, DM me privately and we can talk about your experience, what you’re interested in, what kind of project you want to work on, and figure out what we could do together.

I’m open to pretty much any Minecraft server idea, so don’t hesitate to message me even if you’re not sure whether you’d be a good fit. 🙏

DM me if you’re interested and we’ll discuss everything privately!
