I am the victim of an infostealer attack and I need someone to verify or disprove these claims about them

I got attacked by an infostealer a little over a week ago and my anxiety has been getting to me even though I’ve done everything recommended to defend myself after the fact. I need someone to verify or disprove these claims I’ve been told so I can move on with my life and not worry about this anymore. For background info, I’m a broke post grad college student:

- unless I’m a company exec/vip/have crypto, infostealer hackers won’t try to use or manipulate my phone number in any way to bypass 2FA and get into my accounts. They won’t do this for the average person.
- my data has a “shelf life”
- infostealer hackers generally don’t care about job app site, school/study related other misc accounts. Only accounts they can profit from (social media, gaming, primary emails, e commerce)

Also, I had an attempt on my DoorDash account and a successful login on my Walmart account (I resolved that immediately). Thank you to all who reply to this.

Guidance for supporting myself in an out of state CLS/MLS program

Hello all, I have an important question. To all who have went out of state for an MLS/CLS program, how did you support yourself/pay rent, etc.? This is a major roadblock for me, as I don't have family in any of the areas where the programs are being held. I really hope im not just SOL. Thank you

Going from research genetics to CLS/CGMBS in California

Hello all. For the past few months after graduating, ive been thinking about my future and where I want to be career-wise. After being informed of this career path, doing somewhat extensive research on it and reflecting on my current career path outcomes, i have decided that i want to become a CGMBS in California.

Here are my stats: 3.2 overall GPA (no science/math/physics grade is less than a C), exceed academic requirements for license (4 year biology degree with non-official emphasis in genetics), and undergraduate research lab experience (albeit only 6 months to date, will remain til further notice). Based in San Diego.

I researched almost everything about the generalist CLS pathway and the CGMBS pathway. I am aware that it is very difficult to get into general CLS programs here, more so than programs in other states. Plus, i dont have the required academic prerequisites for a license. My plan to knock out everything was to first meet the academic requirement via UCSD extension, then apply for an out of state program that is tuition free. If the program wasn't 1 year long, i would work wherever i got accepted for a year then come back here, do the tests and go from there. Regarding the CGMBS pathway, I already meet the academic requirements, im just missing the training/experience requirement.

Some general questions: Is it true that CGMBS has better work-life balance than a general CLS? How difficult are the main licensing tests (are they MCAT level difficult)?

My most important question(s): What should i do right now to get me started on this pathway? Are my stats not good enough, even for the CGMBS route? Is my general CLS plan actually achievable? How difficult is it being a general CLS?

Thank you

Is there any good budget ways to haul around a UB using a Honda Civic, or do I need a truck/bigger vehicle?

I wanna upgrade to an Ultra Bee from a Talaria XXX, but I have a problem. I drive a Honda Civic and carry my XXX using a U-Haul installed hitch + heavy-duty bike rack from 1UP, and that has been working for the most part for the past 3 years.

The only issue is that I found out recently that the weight of the bike rack and XXX (battery in) puts strain on my back tires enough to where there is visible wear and tear on my tires over time. When I bought the bike and the rack, I did my research and thought I was good, but apparently not.

Since the UB is heavier and longer, I need a different way to haul it without putting strain on my tires or buying a whole other vehicle. Is there a budget way I can do this using the hitch installed on my car? Is there maybe an emoto/motorcycle trailer I can use?
