Made a new app (TrackTag) to help make tagging music easier - looking for feedback
Hey everyone!
I wanted to share a small project me and my friend have been working on called TrackTag.
It’s a batch MP3 tag editor, with focus on DJs. It’s designed to be a one-stop shop for after you download your music, and before you import it into Rekordbox (or any other DJ software).
While more expensive alternatives exist, we built this because we wanted something that felt a bit more straightforward and lightweight for handling bulk edits without a lot of friction.
Some of the current features are: • Batch editing tags across multiple MP3 files • built-in audio player for previewing files • artwork editor
We are working on adding more features (like artwork fetching, filename -> tag, etc) soon.
It’s still early, so we’d really appreciate any feedback if you decide to try it.
If you think this could be useful for you, and don’t mind giving us feedback, I’d be happy to give away some lifetime license keys (removes the limit to how many tracks you can edit at a time).
