AI Copilot has become a really useful part of my TradingView workflow — a couple of questions for the community
I'm relatively new to TradingView and still finding my feet, but one thing that's genuinely impressed me is the AI Copilot feature.
Being able to set alerts and draw on charts through plain language has turned out to be more useful than I expected. What looked like a novelty has quietly become something I reach for regularly — it removes friction at exactly the point where you want to be focused on the chart, not the interface.
Which prompts two questions I'd love input on from people who know the platform better:
- Is native integration on the roadmap?
Right now Copilot feels like a separate layer sitting alongside the main app. Has TradingView said anything about bringing it more directly into the core chart experience? It feels like a natural fit.
- Is a TradingView MCP server in the works?
For anyone using Claude or other AI assistants as part of their workflow, an MCP connection to TradingView would be a meaningful step up — being able to pull chart data, set alerts, or trigger drawings without switching context entirely. MCP is becoming the standard integration layer for AI tools and TradingView seems like an obvious candidate. Has anyone heard anything about this?
Happy to be pointed to existing threads if this has been covered before.
Thanks, Alex
