Hello,
I am a 20-year-old from Pune and my dad passed away recently.

He was a businessman and handled most things himself, so my mom and I are still trying to understand his business, accounts, investments, and paperwork. Right now it’s honestly overwhelming and we’re figuring things out step by step.

From what I know, he had business tie-ups related to solar panel sales/installations. Since he’s gone, I’ll now have to manage the remaining stock, documents, and responsibilities.

If anyone has gone through something similar or has knowledge in this field, I would really appreciate guidance regarding:

1. We have stock in a godown including solar-related products, pumps, turbines, etc. I may need guidance on how to legally/value-wise sell or liquidate inventory in Pune/Maharashtra.
2. What is the proper legal/banking process to help family members gain access to accounts, cards, investments, and business-related assets after a parent passes away?
3. His laptop may contain important business documents and records. What is the safest/legal way to recover access if it is password protected?

I am NOT looking to share personal banking details/passwords with anyone online. I’m mainly looking for guidance from people who have experience with business, banking, legal procedures, or loss of a parent.
