Trouble disconnecting battery

I had my battery changed at the Ford dealership a week ago and today I’m trying to disconnect the battery so I can swap my steering wheel. However I cannot seem to disconnect the negative terminal at all and I’m not sure what to do. Can anyone help me?

Swapping out fiesta steering wheel

I have a Ford fiesta 2018 zetec 1l ecoboost and wanted to swap the steering wheel for an st one and was wondering how to do that and how I would find out what ones are compatible. does anyone know how i could do this And if I were to get one with cruise control and enable it would I have to declare to insurers?
