Finding accomodation feels impossible - Erasmus in Ljubljana, Slovenia
hello! as the title says, searching for accomodation has been an anxiety inducing nightmare. I did not realize how doomed i was once i recieved an email saying i wasnt accepted into the dorms. I also started my search very late since there were a few problems with my application. I have a friend i am going with who is struggling with the same problem. All good places on sites like housing anywhere are already booked and what is left is all wayy too expensive. Landlords i emailed either dont respond or respond very late, with their answers always being either sorry we are fully booked or that theyre looking for people staying at least a month, im only staying for 4 months. I emailed the ljbuljana ESN group about it and they sent a few resources, but they are not as often updated as they claim. Is there even the possibility that they wont be able to accomodate all of us? that some of us will just end up stranded? should i just...not go after all?? i really dont want it to amount to that. If anybody has a piece of advice or even just some words of comfort i would appreciate it. Oh and im going for the winter semester :)
