I just bought a 996.2 cabriolet yesterday. Love the car already! I guess that’s why I’m up at 2 am reading about oil.

The previous owner put Liquid moly 5w40 in about 600 miles ago. I want to start using the DT40 everyone recommends for these.

Thinking of pumping out 300 ml through the dipstick then adding a can of CERA TECH. Thinking this will add about, if not more, protection then changing the oil to DT40? Am I correct or should I just change the oil to DT40 now? If I change the oil, do I need to replace the filter or not worry about it since it’s only 600 miles?
