I am 18 years old and I have experienced hair loss, about five months ago I started using finasteride. Recently, I’ve been feeling very anxious to the point I felt like I was gonna explode. I don’t know if this is caused by Finasteride or my blood work, or something else entirely. My doctor is on vacation right now so he’s not responding to my messages. But the finasteride is the only hormonal thing I’m taking. i’ve also noticed weaker libido.

I know my hair defused thinning isn’t insane, but I am 18 with aggressive hair thinning genes. I’ve been on oral finasteride for four months and i’ve been on oral and topical minoxidil since I was 16. I wanna make a wise choice but I don’t just want to keep my hair, I want thick hair like how I used to have. But I don’t obviously wanna ruin my endocrine hormones at 18. What is a smart choice to make here and for the future?
