Bias in rising pets (Feat: The Bald Eagle)

Bias in rising pets (Feat: The Bald Eagle)

(This is all just speculative dont treat it as fact)

Idk about you guys but I think all the bald eagle hate is coming from a place that is undeserving. At what point do we congratulate and be happy that a pet is rising and at what do we collectively decide to bash it in because realistically the bald eagle rising shouldnt have so many people upset at it yet is.

Bald eagle has all of the qualities to be a rising pet.Im not gonna pull some "Erm, Erm, Nobody was around during this summer event 🤓🤓🤓🤓☝️☝️" because there were definitely people around and im gonna be honest nobody ever backs it up, just says it like its facts but even outside of that, There are some legitimate reasons. It was released at the tail-end of the event for robux (only 1 week left) and unlike other more desireable cute pets around you couldve bought like Mini-Pig Or Balloon Unicorn, The Bald Eagle for the most part was very undesired and is no doubt a lot rarer then the other 2 aforementioned pets from the same event and while those two rose and rode the charts, The bald eagle wad left to rot and be abandoned until recently when people picked up on its rarity and now its had a decent surge in its value and demand which has caused outrage, but why?

Something like the balloon unicorn's outrage can be understood as its demand is the single soul reason its there and it constantly swings up and down in value all the time which makes it a lot like other newer high tiers where they end up very unstable.

But lets look at the Mini Pig which is sitting at a 38 in value while the bald eagle sits at 7. What constitutes the outrage for the eagle that the pig does not get? They are basically in the same boat, The Mini Pig rose way more and yet its the bald eagle who is hit with all the arrows and then it hit me.

It has to do with bias, Its because people dont like the bald eagle. If we really sit down and think about it, Lets say the Bald Eagle was not the bald eagle on its release and it was instead lets say the German Shepard and it had circumstances and it was in its spot. Would people really be complaining? Would there be such an outrage on him? In my opinion it seems highly unlikely that people would mind.

This personally just rubs me the wrong way. We pick and choose what pets to be mad at for rising, We let the Simease and Goose rise because we like the Simease and we like the goose and now that the bald eagle rears its head into rising and gets nowhere near the other 2, We bash it in because we don't like the bald eagle.

Im not telling people that they HAVE to like a pet. If you dont like the bald eagle, Im not forcing you to change just because it rose and follow the trends and go "omg bald eagle is my dp aisvsowkshdhfhdowl". But I am saying this, Dont bash the bald eagle for rising because you dont like it, Learn to seperate the pet's value from the pet itself. You can choose to hate the bald eagle all you want but you cant deny that in some way, its entirely deserved.

Am I right? Am I a nuthead?

Id love to see what you guys think about it ^^

Im becoming extremely worried with the amount of pets that skyrocket to like double or triple thier value in like a week's time. It now feels like when a pet rises, everyone rushes towards it and causes it to go up way too fast then it ends up falling. A stable rising pet feels like it'll never happen again and thats a little worrying 😭😭😭

A lot of the pets I love, get called ugly, undesirable, "nobody wants them" and yknow what? Thats find with me because id rather have them like this and be accessible to the people who actually want them rather then having a bunch of trendhoppers cause its value to inflate to overblown proportions and make it feel impossible to get even just one.

Dont get me wrong, I love that pets like the Jeckyll Hydra are getting the value they deserve, I really really do BUT I also dislike that it feels like a lot of people want it to make people overpay exteme amounts so they can get rich quick rather then genuine love for the pet itself. If you personally gained a love for the pet for what it was during this time, thats fine and I even encourage you to still love it, however I do feel really bad because now you must fight tooth and nail to get just one.

I dont know what id do if a pet like the Pirate Ghost rose to the 30s and required big overpays to obtain. Its already absurdly hard to find one now, so trying to find one among a sea of thousands and thousands of others would probably make me quit trying to search for one altogether 😭

At least some of the pets I like are staying safe for now and possibly forever, Even if theres like 5 people out there who want the ice golem, I'm happy those 5 people can swim in them and collect as many as thier hearts desires 🧡
