Its been a while but im back

Hello! I am getting back into 40k for 11th after a hiatus since 5th. I have slowly collected these kits over the last few months in preparation for my best buddy to take leave and visit home for 10 days. We have been writing a narrative campaign together for 6 months or so and are excited to get our armies built and onto the table top. We are also printing battle fleet gothic fleets for our campaign while he is in town. He will be here in 3 weeks so its going to be a push, but I will do my best to get at least my 1k pts of Tyranids based and painted. The only other things I need for my list are a brood lord and 10 man genestealers squad. Anyway, im happy to be back and be joining the ranks of Hivefleet Behemoth. Cheers everyone!

Im calling my first squad of Ogors done. I dont have any ideas for the banner yet so I'll leave it until I think of something. This is the first squad ive painted in over 10 years. I learned that you have to find a balance between what you see as fit for on the table and time spent painting. These are good enough for now. Any Constructive Criticism is welcome!!

I created this list around the models I currently own which are the Tyrants Bellow spearhead plus 2 more mournfang pack. I have yet to play my first game so I am just going with what I think would be cool to play. I do know people tend to lean towards either gutbusters or beastclaw raiders but I dont see enough synergy spells or buffs to make me want to do that. If I could make a few changes, it would be to remove the leadbelchers, tyrant, and ironblaster to get some more meat on the board in the form of iron guts or more gluttons. The frost sabers would also be gone ( they're there to fill out the last 70pts and help with the cavalry). But, for now, I want to use what I have. Let me know what you all think please! I do know we are getting a refresh but I am okay with the current models.

I was browsing around my LGS and stumbled upon this Gorger. He was on a random table next to some dice and other odds and ends. Idk what I'll do with 1 Gorger but I like the model so hes a welcome addition to my small Ogor army.

Question - How do gorger units work? The battletome says unit size 1 so do they run separately? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
