People at my local hobby store said I should skip the Spearhead box.
Finished painting my Ogor Mawtribes Thundertusk.
Tried to go for a gritty, weathered look instead of super clean box art. Honestly one of the most fun models I’ve painted in a while. The little details and hanging trophies on this kit are ridiculous. GW really said ‘put another skull on it’.

Just wanted to show a small change I made when making my ogres. The arms are swapped between the kits to change how they hold their weapons and I wanted to make it look like the ogres are actually riding and controlling the mournfangs.
I never did finish painting the mournfangs themselves.
Just hopped onto GW store to check my favourite large lads only to find many a kit is simply out of stock. No button to notify. It’s all sold out online. The maw is calling my gluttonous brothers!

Has anyone of you cut off the „saddle tusks“ from your mournfang? I am thinking about doing so because I try to paint as few tusks/horns as possible 😄 but can Not quite Imagine how it would look.

With the current kit, how easy (or even possible) is it to magnetise the head to allow for a switch to the Thundertusk?
Appreciate that Stone Horn is so much better but wondering if it’s possible to allow for army building options and to “future proof” in case the Tusk gets better in the Battletome.
